Situated between Elk Mountain and Montage Mountain, close to many golf courses and Hurricane Hills Sports Center and just minutes from the Lackawanna State Park, this fully renovated but still charming farmhouse is a great find for sports enthusiasts. Such an adorable house!! Everything we needed and very comfortable. The area was quiet and beautiful. We to Lackawanna State Park and hiked. Restaurant La Rosa highly recommended and local dairy Manning with delicious ice cream!

Just lovely!

This sweet house is so cozy. Plenty of rooms, comfortable beds, and very welcoming hosts. There are ponds a short walk away and it's very quiet. I wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend.

Country retreat in the Poconos

Our family enjoyed our stay at the property. The farmhouse was roomy enough for all of us, and we enjoyed being close enough to Scranton to see some of the sights, but far enough away from the city to enjoy nature. Highly recommended!

Family Ski Trip

We had an outstanding stay! The Farmhouse has been lovingly restored with modern touches while maintaining its original farmhouse character. The house was clean and comfortable. We visited the weekend after Christmas, and the Christmas tree and other decorations made us feel right at home. We will definitely stay here again.

Great one night stay

We stayed at the house for a nearby wedding; it was perfect for our group of 5. Comfortable beds, newly renovated bathrooms and kitchen, unique, quaint and very clean. 19th century house has steep stairs to the 2nd floor & sits on a rural gravel road. Very private & quiet. 👍👍

Home away from home!

Our family of three (2 adults and a 7yo) had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse! it seemed like Lynn and Mark thought of every detail, and from the moment we arrived at the house (which was so nicely decorated for Christmas!) we felt right at home. We arrived on a snowy afternoon, and in the morning we found the walkway shoveled and the driveway plowed. I really can’t say enough good things and really hope we get to stay there again soon!

Peaceful Getaway

Our family (including 2 young kids and a teenager) had a wonderful stay at this peaceful getaway. Beautiful and very quiet location with only a few cars passing by over the entire 3 days we were there. Comfortable beds, clean house, including bathrooms and kitchen. Our kids especially appreciated the cozy sunroom and large fields to run around in. Lynn was very nice, easy to work with, and responsive. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains.

Great Stay! Less than 30 minutes to Elk Mountain

Wonderful choice for a group of 5! Enough beds for us all - the king bed was huge for two of my friends to share, with plenty of room for a third person if needed. The two other beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets for everyone if needed. The living area and kitchen were welcoming - everything was well organized and we were able to find what we needed to cook quite easily. Hosts were lovely and contacted us after an initial message we sent when having trouble locating the house, but we were able to locate it after following the map on VRBO (Google Maps stops you about a minute before you reach the house). Everything was clean when we arrived and it was overall a great stay and home for our short trip! Would definitely recommend and come again.

We had a wonderful stay at Lynn's farmhouse! The house was so cozy and felt like we were staying right at home on the farm. The screen porch was wonderful for morning breakfasts while watching wildlife pass by including many deer. It is a nice location close to town for shops and restaurants.

Wonderful stay for ski trip

The farmhouse was very cozy, clean, and comfortable with lots of charm, and perfect for our ski trip. Lynn was a great host and was very responsive and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.
