Comfy little apartment, wonderful location, great hosts!

We felt lucky to stay in this charming little place over Halloween! The bed was very comfortable, the living room was great to hang out in with local friends (we hooked up our own firestick, switch, and powerstrip), and we got a couple nights around the fire out back when the weather turned chilly. The sofa bed wasn't working, so the third member of our party pulled the mattress onto the floor and was fairly comfortable. The wine and coffee were nice touches that made us feel so welcome. Great kitchen with most everything we needed. And the washer & dryer are such a great amenity when traveling! Our hosts were very responsive. Even when they didn't have exactly what we requested, they responded right away and did what they could. We had three adults trying to do hair and makeup for the festivities, so the bathroom mirrors were in high demand! (We asked for an extra mirror. Also a kitchen gadget, tv trays for our "stuff", a couple extra chairs, & firewood). The place was a bit more rustic than expected from the pictures, but New Orleans is an historic old place, so still great. We used both the AC and the heat during our week and were always comfortable. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and had a wonderful time!
