This historic Greek Revival style home was built in 1854, making it one of the oldest in the neighborhood. Located in a safe, family-friendly community just across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter and downtown New Orleans, this home is a great combination of proximity and quiet. A 200+ year old Live Oak tree in the side yard provides year round shade and a treehouse-style deck perfect for an evening glass of wine.
Our kitchen is fully prepared with a full size fridge, gas range/oven, dishwasher, microwave and toaster as well as a large pantry and cooking basics, plates, flatware, and glassware.
Located only a 10 minute walk from the Algiers Point/Canal Street ferry connecting our neighborhood to downtown New Orleans and the historic French Quarter. The local bus line with a quick transfer to downtown is located just around the corner.
There are several local bars and restaurants within walking distance.
