We had a great stay here! We enjoyed the golf cart rides, the pool/restaurant amenities, the place in general. It was very clean and up to date. We loved sitting on the porch to enjoy the view. Short drive to the beach and close to old downtown Manteo. Lots of things to do in the area! Goldie was absolutely amazing and so responsive to all our needs! Thank you!

Great stay for a birthday!!

We really enjoyed the location (about 15 minutes from the beach), quiet community, beautiful homes, boats, sunrises, and friendly neighbors. The community pool and park were ideal for the younger kids. The home was very well kept and had all of the supplies we needed. Of course we brought our own toiletries, paper towels, and things like that. The price was great and certainly affordable. The owner stayed in contact with me and was easy to reach. I do believe we will rent again.

Yearly Family Meetup

Every year, we travel from Chicago to North Carolina to meet family at the beach. My wife and I are originally from NC. The property was perfect for us, with bedrooms for our family of four and the grandparents, plus three full bathrooms to make mornings smooth. The property was well maintained, and the photos were accurate. Although it was winter and we didn't catch any fish, we did see them swimming around.The location is great for downtown Manteo and Nags Head. Kitty Hawk and Duck take a bit longer to reach, but it wasn’t an issue.This property is definitely on our list for future stays.

Outstanding View!

We visited this property for our 40th anniversary trip. The house was beautiful. Loved the decor and high end finishes. The views from the decks were gorgeous! Seeing the canal filled with boats and the sound in the distance was so relaxing. We have stayed in the Outer Banks many times since the 80’s , this was the most perfect house yet! Everything was well thought out and convenient. Pirate’s Cove is an amazing location and this house had everything we hoped for! Thank you Gloria! You are so friendly and responsive during our stay!

When we arrived, the beds were made, but the floors had not been swept and there was only one bath towel for each bedroom. On day 2, my husband killed a cockroach, leaving us wondering about the cleaning service. The location was great - close to everything! Enjoyed the club house services.
