We are a family of seven, our five children, my wife and myself. Our main home is on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Graduate of Virginia Tech. Children have graduated or currently attending University of Tampa, College of Charleston and Clemson University. We have enjoyed Pirates Cove Marina and the Outer Banks for the last 25 years! So much to do from this convenient location. We continue to have great family vacations and to make memories in this home!

Why they chose this property

My wife, my five children and myself have been vacationing in the Outer Banks for over 20 years. We use to stay at the beach until we discovered Pirate's Cove Marina (PC). Once we stayed at PC we were hooked. We never stayed anywhere else for our annual summer vacation. We loved this place so much that in 2012 we purchased this home in Pirate's Cove Marina and still love it as much as the first time we vacationed here! After repeated request to rent our home, we decided to give it a try and here we are. We hope you will enjoy this property as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

55 ft dock space included with this rental. Hammock and swing on shaded deck. Comfortable chairs of third floor deck with awesome views of the Roanoke preservation and Roanoke Sound, parasailing, boats, jockey ridge, etc. House located on a quiet cul de sac. Parking for several vehicles. Reverse open floor plan! Upgraded kitchen for wonderful meals. Dock wrap around Pirates Cove for you walking pleasure! Gated playground, tennis courts, fitness center, basketball courts, and seasonal community pool and hot tub. Walk to the marina from this home and meet your chartered boat and observe the large fishing boats and the catch of the day! Onsite restaurant and tiki bar as well as a ship store. Once you arrive at our home, you do not have to get into your vehicle to have fun.
