There was feces in the pool, filthy and not functional
Upon arrival, the pool was absolutely disgusting. It was not filtering the water and the pool cleaner was not working. After further inspection, it was noted that there was feces on the steps. I contacted the 24 hour help line several times starting on Friday and was told by a that the local management company would contact me. It took several text messages to the help line and each time I had to start over. The help line would not give me a name or a number to contact. I was promised someone would come the very next day to fix the situation. This did not happen. I received no phone call and when we returned from our event, there was even more feces in the pool. Either a dog or a human is intentionally dumping waste into the pool. I did not get to speak to a human until 1130pm on the second day of our stay when I insisted talking to a manager. We were leaving at 8am the next day, so fixing the pool was a mute point. How would I have allowed the children to swim in that pool even if it was cleaned and made functional? I have been promised restitution, but any refund would need to be processed through the local company. I have no faith that this will occur when the report of feces in the pool was ignored. It cost me close to 1k and we didn't even get to use the pool. I feel completely unheard by the local management company and I'm very upset for the homeowner. I hope this message gets to them and they know how horribly their home is being managed.
