I lived in South Carolina for two years and purchased a duplex to have a little rental income. I live in one side and fixed it up, then moved to the other side and fixed it up.
I hated to leave Spartanburg. It is a great town. I would go dancing every weekend night. There are so many good live music venues in town. One of the best music towns I've lived in.
I live in Virginia now and have a local man help me manage the property.

Why they chose this property

Converse Heights is a great neighborhood. 1930's era. Lots of Craftsman and Neocolonial style houses. Big mansions, duplexes, and everything in between.

It takes about 20 minutes of walking to put you right in the middle of downtown. Lots of good restaurants and live music venues there.

There is a good bike path nearby. I rode my bike a lot in Spartanburg.

What makes this property unique

My house looks like it belongs in New England, but that makes it stand out.
It was built in the 1930s. It has the idiosyncrasies of an older house.
