Luxury 3 bedroom ground level condo at Pointe Santo de Sanibel one of the premier and most highly sought after condominium complexes on Sanibel Island. It is nestled amidst swaying palm trees directly on the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. It is the only complex on Sanibel offering lounge chairs on the beach as well as pool side. The location on the coast contributes to an uncrowded stay. It is centrally located on West Gulf Dr for easy access to all island resources. Local management is onsite to assure continued quality throughout your stay.
Our unit has been 100% renovated; EVERYTHING, from the furniture to the appliances and even the infrastructure is brand new, having been fully rebuilt after hurricane Ian. The ground floor provides 'walk out' access to the lagoon, pool, and beach. Broad views include the spring-fed lagoon and the Gulf of Mexico. The main bedroom, living room, kitchen and lanai share these views.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SANIBEL ISLAND, AND POINTE SANTO, ARE STILL RECOVERING FROM HURRICANE IAN OF 2022. OUR UNIT IS COMPLETELY NEW AND REMODELED AND IS IN PERFECT CONDITION, HOWEVER YOU SHOULD ONLY BOOK WITH FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING. MUCH OF THE ISLAND IS GREEN, BUT IN SOME AREAS THE FOLIAGE ON THE ISLAND IS STILL GROWING BACK, SOME SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS HAVE NOT YET REOPENED, AND, AT POINTE SANTO, NOT ALL AMENITES ARE YET FULLY AVAILABLE. THE GROUNDS ARE STILL NEEDING EXTENSIVE RE-LANDSCAPING, THE CLUBHOUSE IS YET TO BE REPLACED, AND THERE MAY BE SOME CONSTRUCTION GOING ON IN THE COMPLEX. SOME SHORT TERM INTERRUPTIONS, SUCH AS POOL CLOSURES, CAN OCCUR AT TIMES. Also, see the notes below about our pictures. The interior of our unit has been totally renovated for expansive views and designer decorated in a comfortable, contemporary style. EVERYTHING is brand new. In addition to brand new central A/C, we have ceiling fans in all bedrooms so you can set a comfortable temperature in each room. PLEASE NOTE that the pictures of our unit in this listing do reflect the new furnishings HOWEVER the photos of the grounds of Pointe Santo are not current, but are reflective of the planned landscaping which will be implemented over the coming months. The tennis courts and pickleball courts are complete, and the office has rackets and paddles to lend.
It is a wonderful base for adults and children alike to explore Sanibel's beautiful shelling beaches, nature preserves, waterfowl, fishing, golf courses, bicycle paths, live theater, shops and boutiques.
Excursions for deep-sea fishing and kayak/canoe/bike rentals, golf and the Sanibel Recreation Center are close by as are the island's delicious restaurants and lovely boutiques and galleries. The Sanibel Farmers' Market held on Sundays from 9-1 is not to be missed. Pick up fresh morning baked goods, the night's dinner, or veggies and fruit for a week.
An unique feature of Pointe Santo is its supervised children’s program, available during certain seasons.
You are never far from all the island conveniences with a gas station, grocery store and pharmacy less than a mile away, but at Pointe Santo, you are millions of miles away from hustle and bustle.
