We had a weekend stay for a softball tournament in the area. The amenities and camper were clean and welcoming. It was quiet and perfect for families to enjoy time together. The hosts were so thoughtful and very receptive with anything needed. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

Home away from Home

The trailer was good for 2 people, had problems with the main Tv Darlene did come down to try to fix but with no luck, did have the bedroom Tv work on regular channels no movies channels, nice location very quiet. Had to use the heat on Saturday as it did really cold, worked very nicely- Would recommend to couples, very nice. Thank you

Location

Not bad. Location was very sketchy. You will miss the road if you are not looking. Drive down a very dark dead end road. Flood lights did turn on when we arrived. Trailer is very dated and small. River was close by for fishing. The fire pit and deck area were nice. Would be great for one or two person fishing weekend. Not a location for a family. Close to Petersburg. 5/10

In rural West Virginia, there are no hard capped roads with street lights leading to a camper on a riverfront lot. You don't have to drives miles and miles down a dark road, it's about 800 ft. We cannot help if a guest arrives after dark, but we have our road clearly marked with our HB sign and road name. As well as directional signs the length of the road. We even have installed numerous motion lights that come on as you drive in to our property. As shown in photos on the VRBO site before you book, the camper is a 2014 31ft with not 1 but 2 slide outs that make it very roomy. Unlike most campers this size we offer 2 queen size beds. Very comfortable for 4 guests. AgaIn, all shown in our photos on the site. In addition to the camper to accommodate our guests we offer a full size shower house with full size shower, sink and toilet. In addition to great access to the river for fishing, swimming, and Kayaking we have a bar right on the river bank. Guests can spread out play darts , shuffleboard, cornhole, grill, eat, drink and be merry. We want everyone to enjoy their stay and we put in the extra effort to make sure they have a good time here when they are not out taking in the local attractions.
