I'm not leaving a bad review, but I won't be leaving a great review either. It looks like the pictures, the Marina is nice, and if you go into it knowing it's essentially an old RV on the water you'll have a great time. I booked it reading luxury yacht, and that affected how my entire experience went from the moment I arrived. The host stayed in communication and made it right when things did go wrong. I wish I had a better time, I really do. I'm not trying to bash anyone, this is just my most honest review of my experience in Key West on this boat. I think managing expectations will go a long way in helping anyone enjoy this boat who chooses to book it.
The boat was in a peaceful location away from fantasy fest . The marina was great with many amenities . The bed was comfy and the weather was perfect . Great visit
The location is much better than the previous one. The boat is as awesome as ever but the Marina is outstanding! Restaurant, bar, entertainment, location! It's all here!

Cool staying on a boat as an adventure
Kinda cool accommodations. We were not made aware that the main toilet was put of commission. So only had the one in the master suite, or the marina facilities. There were no available outside seating.
We stayed in Perry Hotel and Marina on Ian's boat for 3 days and it was beautiful! Ian's boat was clean, spacious and had everything we needed! We had full access to the hotel amenities which we used because the weather was perfect.
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
We loved the yacht! We had one initial issue that was handled quickly by the team and had an otherwise outstanding stay! Would definitely book again! So glad we had this experience! The marina had everything you would need and was close to everything else yet far enough away to enjoy the quiet evenings. Perfect for what we were looking for. The only thing we would have liked more is to have a longer vacation, but that’s on us. We only had 5 days to take. Thank you for an excellent stay!
Owners communicated well. They had the sewage pumped out before we came & while we were there. At times we noticed an odor but Febreeze seemed to help. I am sure staying in the marina you have odors like that. I only used the microwave & it worked well - cooking free vacation. The A/C was cold, except when the breakers tripped. Glad my husband & son knew how to flip them back on. We were gone most of the time, only slept & showered there & watched OSU win!
This was a nice place to stay, not sure we would stay again this time of year, very hot very humid 95 degrees and 90% humidity. No fault of this property, just be aware of the time of year to stay in Key West.
Our group consisted of 4 seniors. The host was aware of the broken toilet prior to our arrival. We were not notified of this. You can imagine our dismay when we went to use the toilet and it was all taped up. The only available toilet was in the master bedroom. We contacted the host immediately and his response was to use the facilities at the Marina. This was unacceptable - we paid for two toilets. We stayed one night as it was late and left the next morning ( 2 days left on our booked stay). He refused to provide us a refund stating over and over again that we could use the marina facilities. To use the Marina facilities meant leaving the boat, walking up the ramp, and then walking another approximately 100 yards. We have used Vrbo several times and have never encountered a situation or host like this.
Ac was not on when we got there and it was so hot and smelled. Turn breaker on that flipped and next day it flipped again while gone and left it hot in there again. Plus the smell was soo bad and host stoped responded and no one came out to check it out like he said they would
We liked the position and the facilities provided by the hotel/marina where the boat is immensely, unfortunately that is where all the positives cease. The list of negatives could go on for days so here are the highlights.Day head is out of commission so everyone has to use the main cabin en-suite day or night, really enjoyed my friends piling through the bedroom at 4 in the morning.En-suite toilet most of the time doesn’t flush properly meaning the siphon doesn’t fill , this means you get pure sewage fragrance through out the entire boat.It has an infestation of ants.Air conditioning doesn’t work.Kitchen equipment is so poor it is not possible cook , not even a knife to cut up fruit .No where to sit out of an evening, this bit I found extraordinary, the one thing that could have made living on board this boat is not there !Host did not give us any information until we prompted them , then it was useless , relied on VRBO team (who where excellent)information to get on board.Very disappointing this is a very tired and old boat and very surprised it is on VRBO site
So unique. Loved every moment. Bunks were interesting 😀 We would recommend to anyone who loves boats or anyone who is up for a fun experience. Had manatees lazing right next to the boat every day the beginning of February. Plan to return!!!!
We had a very brief but cozy stay on the yacht in January. Not the best weather, so I think we missed some of the joys of sitting topside. But it was a fun experience in boat living, the boat is well-kept and cute, and Ian was responsive to all our questions.
We found plenty to do around Marathon despite the dreary weather - recommend the Turtle Hospital and Crane Point Park. We grilled one night (granted, dodging the no-see-ums!) and brought home a tasty fish dinner the other.
Ian was notified two Days in a row about how hot it was inside the boat, on the second day Ian was asked to come see for himself since his reply was “everything should be fine” and stopped replying once asked to do so. Worst stay I’ve ever had, ac is nothing to play with in Florida heat.
Also, ian told me he would get back to me once his “Manager” came and looked at the property and compensate me if anything was wrong. This was on 5/29, he has yet to contact me which I know who ever stepped foot in there to clean the property must of melted instantly.
Our stay aboard was disappointing. The venue was gorgeous, clean, easy access, and good parking. However, first impressions of the boat were not good. On the deck at the entry door and right next to the lock box was a fish well with green mildew streaked down the exterior. Inside had not been cleaned. Lines were loose on the deck, not stowed. Garbage was not emptied, cleaning products and extension cords were not put away.
This vessel is a health hazard. Inside, the mildew smell was overwhelming. The owners are aware of it because the blowers were on and a bottle of fabric spray to cover the smell was available. It needs to be professionally cleaned and AC filters changed to remove the mildew. We had to purchased allergy meds to deal with the reaction to the mildew.
There was not enough flatware available to accommodate the advertised capacity. We purchased plastic ware. Plates and linens were adequate.
Topside was not cleaned. There were empty beer bottles in the drink holders. The eisenglass was torn and left hanging. The non functioning icebox had beer bottles inside and repairs had not been completed to the exterior. The sink up there was filthy.
The boat accommodation could use a binder with helpful hints. Fortunately, someone came by to explain the electrical system. A breaker did trip and we knew how to fix it. Fortunately, we are boaters, so we were able to find other things like the topside lighting.
The family, including three 11 year old boys, had a wonderful experience aboard the yacht. The yacht is a little dated, but very clean. This was a whole new experience living on a boat having to conserve water via toilets, dishes, and showers. Accessing the boat from the dock was always changing with the tides. The kids enjoyed the smart tvs and internet. There was a great stereo on board. The queen sized bedroom was perfect with lots of storage. The kids' bunk room was small as pictured, but workable for us. If the kids were larger it wouldn't have worked. The kitchen appliances that we used were perfect from the two burner stove, refrigerator, freezer, air fryer, and Keurig to make breakfast-omlettes and bacon. One night we used the gas grill and ate outside. The air conditioning was cold and there were plenty of fans to help move the air throughout the yacht.
One more thing to mention, Publix is on the other side of the fence, like three minutes walking distance away!
We had such a fun experience we would definitely stay with Ian again.
