Great home, comfortable with air conditioning when we needed it. Clean and quiet backyard seating for meals and relaxing with a book. Thank you for all the extra with beach chairs and floats. Also location near Caseville was very handy. Thank you Tracy
The property was exactly as described. We had plenty of room for our family. The house is very nice. The fenced backyard was a bonus for our fur babies. We will definitely be planning another stay.
This was our second visit to this home. Tracy is a delight to deal with. She is very responsive and on top of things when you have questions or concerns. The house and property are very nice. We brought our dogs and it was great having a fenced backyard to not have to worry about them. Upon our arrival I noticed the window sills had dead bees on them that had been there for awhile. So, I went through the house and found dirty rugs in the bathrooms. The counter tops had to be washed and we did not wear shoes in the house and our feet were very dirty. I purchased a stiffer and did the floors twice. I also bought a rug for the back door. I thought that would help with the dirt. The coffee maker needs to be shut off and on for every 2 cups made. Just a little inconvenient. Also, it would have been nice if the chairs were set up outside at the patio table. Both the high top table and the outside dining table needed to be cleaned before we could use it. The house is wonderful with a great setting. We got to see deer in the evening. The cleaning is the issue. Thank you Tracy for sharing your home with our family again.

Thank you so much for staying with us again and for taking the time to leave such thoughtful feedback. It was a pleasure hosting you and your family, and we're so glad you enjoyed the peaceful setting, the fenced backyard for your dogs, and seeing the deer in the evenings. Thank you as well for your kind words—they truly mean a lot.
I sincerely apologize that the cleanliness of the home did not meet your expectations upon arrival. We have a second person who reviews the home after each cleaning, and I will be following up with them regarding the items you mentioned so we can ensure this doesn't happen again. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.
I'm also so sorry about the coffee maker. I will be ordering a new one as soon as possible so future guests won't experience that inconvenience.
Regarding the carpets, we actually had all of them professionally cleaned this spring. We have also been making ongoing updates to the property, and I will be reaching out individually regarding your suggestions for future repairs and improvements. Guest feedback is incredibly valuable as we continue enhancing the home.
Thank you again for choosing to stay with us for a second visit. We truly appreciate your honesty and hope we'll have the opportunity to provide you with an even better experience next time.
We had a wonderful stay at James Place. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 5 kids. Short walk to the private beach, practically had it all to ourselves. Loved that it was dog friendly so our four-legged friends could enjoy too. Deer visited us every morning and every night. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend time with out of town family.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feedback as we are new to property rental. We are glad you had a great trip and hope to host you and your family again.
The living space in the house was very spacious. Plenty of room to eat and play games together. Not really any beach access. Easier to drive to other local beaches.
We had a great time! The host is very responsive. the house is clean, fully stocked, and set back from the road. The backyard is fully fenced in. The beach access is about a 5 minute walk and a nice open area.
We had a lovely time at James place, the home is beautiful, well-equipped kitchen w/everything you could need! We loved being able to park our car in garage, neighbors very friendly, the beach a small walk across the street- AMAZING! Clean, everyone very nice!
Tracy was so responsive and kind whenever I reached out!
We will most definitely stay again- and hopefully longer!!
Nice sized house with open floor plan, which is nice for entertaining and leads right out to the back deck. Circular driveway makes leaving the property very easy. The house is close to the beach but we preferred to drive to a local roadside park. Tracy was very easy to deal with and communicated well. I would stay here again.

This home is large and beautiful - equipped with everything a family could ever want or need! Our family of 6 adults and 2 grandchildren had more than enough room to sleep, relax and eat. Games, books and DVDs were also provided.
The hosts were wonderful with their communication.
Everything was great. Property was as advertised. There was plenty of space and everything we could have needed was readily available. Tracy and Brian were easy to contact, we only needed their assistance when I messed up the door code and they immediately sent a new code. The beach access was easy and close, which was helpful as we had some small children in tow.

I rented this house for my siblings and I to enjoy the Cheeseburger Festival. We had a great time. The location of the house was great, no complaints. There were some issues that I brought to the owners attention, she was grateful. I'm sure the house will be spic and span for the next guest. Great house with lots of room.
Just needed some gas in the grill, only about 5 minutes worth of gas, then it ran out. Everything else was wonderful and we had a great time! Thank you!

Overall it was nice
There was the former tenants garbage in the garage. The beach access was not was it presented to be and we were accosted by a vile woman (steps to beach-2nd house on the left) in front of my grandchildren. We were never able to use the beach. Apparently, this situation is known by neighbors. The propane tank was empty and had to purchase a new one.The deck needs some repair, my chair went through the rotted wood on the deck and I fell. Needs some tweeks. Overall, we made the best of everything.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feed back as we are new to property rental. We sincerely apologize about the beach issue; we have been using this access point since 1995 when our family purchased the property. When the “neighbors” in Sand Point reached out, we provided them a picture of our deed that shows we have a legal interest in a plot Sand Point Shores, with their response we were of the belief that this issue was concluded. They stopped engaging with renters and did not reach out to us any further. We will now be directing renters to the exact plot listed on our deed pending legal review. Again, thank you for taking the time to review our property and we sincerely apologize for the “neighbors” behavior.
The property was nice, clean. The master toilet needed to be played with to make it flush. The guest bed on the master was not made. There was a pile of bedding in the middle of the floor and wet sheets left in the dryer. The master closet was supposed to be inaccessible. Instead it was left wide open. We walked across to the private beach we were supposed to have access to only to be told by the beachfront dwellers that we were not allowed access at all. We ended up at the public beach, which was still nice, but inconvenient considering I booked this property with the understanding there would be beach access for us. Overall I would choose to rent a house with proper beach access next time.

We sincerely apologize about the beach issue; we have been using this access point since 1995 when our family purchased the property. This was our first time using Vrbo. After combing over many properties and hundreds of reviews in the past year we decided on this one. We had 4 generations of 12 people from age 4 to 82 (8 adults 4 kids). The house was stocked with everything we could need plus some. There were beach chairs, toys, wagon, and umbrellas. I definitely overpacked for this trip. They should probably list more of the amenities that they provide because it is a very good amount. The beach was a little bit too much of a walk for my 82-year-old parents, but we had no problem with it. The dogs had a great time in the backyard. The twin beds were not really long enough for my tall adult children, but I asked them before we left if they wanted me to bring a blow up mattress and they said they would be fine for a couple of days. We brought some board games in case it rained only to find that they had about 30 games in their game cabinet. I really can’t say enough about this place. We had the most wonderful vacation and made so many wonderful memories. If I could give them higher than 5 stars I would!
