The price was definitely well-worth what this place offers! Wonderful customer service and communication from the hosts, beautiful property, and everything down to the little details like snacks, and coffee and tea made our stay even better! We will definitely be back!

Very clean, space, love having laundry available for our young family - close to Grog's, Port Franks private beach, and a 20 minute drive Grand Bend. Jim & Katie were thoughtful with text message check-ins, I could tell they were wanting to make sure we had the best experience possible. Our 2nd time here, and we'll be back next summer too!

We absolutely loved our time at the cozy cottage and being in Port Franks. The property was perfect for our family of 3, with a spacious bedroom for our teen son and a comfortable bedroom with a king size bed for us. The cottage has a gorgeous shower and lovely living area with many fun, luxurious upgrades that helped us relax and enjoy a real holiday including our own private hot tub, firepit, and ebikes that allowed us to travel all around the charming area daily and ride to the private Port Franks sandy beach, which was absolutely beautiful and a highlight for us all, located just a 10 min bike ride, or 5 min drive away. The proximity to this gem of a quiet beach on Lake Huron was the highlight and we spent afternoons there along with some evenings watching stunning sunsets.

I was very impressed with the amenities that this property offers. We enjoyed using the hot tub! The BBQ was very beneficial for meals, too. Despite the rain experienced on our visit, we took advantage of what neighboring Grand Bend had to offer. This cottage is only minutes drive away! Also, the communication with the host was amazing! I have yet to experience such great communication at other rentals. It was very appreciated the host’s availability during our stay. I would highly recommend this property!

Jan and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, and Jim dropped by to present us with a bottle of bubbly on ice. How’s that for a great host! The “cottage” is the right size for couples like us. It was immaculate. On the way home, we realized that we didn’t hear any cars, dogs, music, etc from the neighborhood. Ah! peace and quiet. Of course, this is the off season, but I’m sure that this location will always be good for us. We decided to go to Stratford and see “Gus & Dolls”. What a thrill. We are sure that we will be coming back to the “Cottage”.

This property is really nice. The firepit was great .The hot tub was definitely a bonus. The cottage itself is very roome for 4 people. Very well upkeep. Really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent retreat property for a peaceful relaxing stay with a stunning sauna setup, gym facilities and private hot tub and fire pit! The cottage was very clean, well maintained and with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay. The owners provided an excellent guide to the property and local amenities/attractions. Enjoyable getaway at the “cozy cottage”

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Jim and Katie’s Cozy Cottage. We hiked, biked, beached and golfed. The cottage was very clean and well organized for us. The beds were super comfy too! Our hosts made our stay very enjoyable. We would definitely return to the cozy cottage and Port Franks.

We had such a wonderful stay in Port Franks! The house was super spacious, spotless, and a perfect fit for our family. The hosts were very communicative and thoughtful—we loved the little welcome tray of snacks. The location is fantastic, just a quick five-minute drive to the private This place has it all, including a private hot tub, fire pit, barbecue, and even a fitness room. We really appreciated being able to use the washer and dryer with two little ones in tow. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, with cozy robes waiting for us in each bedroom.Overall, a great property in a great spot—we’d happily stay again!

From the thoughtful inclusion of a mini bottle of bubbly and snacks, to the little treats for the drive home, the hosts went above and beyond our expectations. The cottage was very clean and tidy and the kitchen had all the appliances and tools that one would need to prepare meals. The traditional picnic basket was a very nice touch although we didn't use it. The location is perfect for exploring all that this region has to offer and the property is very close to a spectacular private beach. Would't hesitate to visit again. Thanks Katie and Jim.
