Perfect vacation with the whole family. Plenty of space for hanging out or breaking off and having your own little bit of privacy if needed. Came with plenty of amenities and the host is very responsive. We had a blast and made some great memories at the big blue!

The beds were very spacious and we had plenty of space for group just under 20 people with our college ministry retreat. Much more parking than other rentals in the area which is great for large groups. There were a few things broken/not working like the toilet and sink drain but we made it work. You’ll want to make sure to pack hand soaps and towels to wash your body with as only big towels were supplied.

A great property for a large group going on a cruise. Was extremely clean. Beds were very comfortable. Communication with property owner/property management group was excellent. I highly recommend this property. If we’re in Galveston again I will definitely be looking to make reservations at this property.

Family wedding week

Soccer Team For Beach Tournament

The property was just as described. We had a total of 20 people that stayed in the house. It was very roomy and convenient for our soccer team who were participating in the Beach Blitz Soccer Tournament over the weekend on East Beach.

There were less beds than expected, and a couple minor breaks we walked into that we were able to call in a maintenance guy to help fix. Beach Box helped make that happen quickly. Router for wifi was also out.

Good Setup

We came as a church youth group so perfect to put boys in one and girls in the other. It’s clean and has a great set up. There is not enough dishes for number that can sleep there but we decided to use paper goods. Bunkbed in front house was wobbly but the girls were careful with it and it worked. Overall great place and everyone enjoyed!

Its a decent find. Close to the port for our cruise. But it looked like the house had not been cleaned in a while. All the blankets were super dusty. The kitchen was ill equipped. Everything was dusty but the beds. They looked like they had been changed. Just hair every where. The neighborhood is questionable to walk around. Bugs!!!! Which the listing warned us about. But still un pleasant. The plus side is that it was large enough for my family. It was only one night. And we had an amazing inspite of.

Perfect for what we needed

We booked this property (both front house & back house) to host a Living Celebration of Life for my momma who was diagnosed with stage 4b terminal cervical cancer. The host/property owner was quick to address any issues we had, which honestly just making them aware of damages we had noticed upon arrival to protect myself from getting any damages charges/fees). The two houses combined was more than plenty enough room for my large group of people. I think all in all we had 27-28. Equal number of kids & adults. The issues we had were very minor. There was not enough dishware/silverware at either house to accommodate each houses total guests like it had claimed in the listing. Other than that I have no real complaints and would definitely book this locations again in the future. Great location, quiet neighborhood and basically central to everything Galveston. The front house sways very noticeably lol, something none of us were prepared for but should have known given the house is on stilts and the first 3 days of our stay was high winds and tons of rain.

The refrigerator was not working very well so our food some of our food got spoiled. The freezer was OK. The floors felt sandy, but everything else look clean. The stove has never been cleaned underneath the coils where the heat comes from on the stove they were very, very dirty. I took pictures of it. The neighborhood was not a very good place where we seen homeless and a couple of druggies through there.Not enough parking is a big problem. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves. Thank You
