If you are looking for something truly secluded, this is it!!! So many times you book a place that looks secluded only to have close neighbor's the pictures didn't show. If you are looking for a place where you can fish just steps out of the door, this is it! Had the best time at this property and I would give it 10 stars if I could!! Will absolutely be back!!!
This property was perfectly peaceful. Our family had a great time relaxing, fishing right out the back door, and gathered by the fire. We weren't able to explore much of the vast acreage due to the amount of rain and storms before our trip but in all I am very pleased with our experience. Ron was very communicative and Eric and his partner were very friendly when they came to visit. Highly recommended!
peaceful lake cabin with endless trails and ponds.
the owner gave us a short tour in a side by side which was really nice. lots of clean easy trails in a very hilly and wooded ranch with lots of ponds. 3 days was too short. looking forward to returning.

Love staying here!
This was my second time to stay at the Dos Equis Ranch cabin and it is great! My husband and I stayed in June and the fishing was super! We caught 9 large bass. Ron took us on a tour of the beautiful land and is very hospitable! We saw many deer and other wildlife. It is so relaxing lounging on the dock and swimming and making smores at nighttime. We will definitely be back!
Our stay was wonderful from the first minute on. Ron is a great guy and perfect host. We had fun fishing, saw beautiful deer and enjoyed being off-the-grid, albeit with good WiFi for the kids and not too far from Tishomingo, Ardmore & Ada for shopping, golf, groceries, etc.
Thanks to Kayla & Willie, too, for all of your help around the property. We’ll be back!
This was a fantastic getaway. We brought our side by side and fishing poles and just spent the days relaxing and fishing at various ponds. It rained right before we came, so highly recommend bring muck boots as well for the ponds. I can’t imagine coming here without some kind of ATV to get around. It’s a huge property, don’t limit yourself to just the cabin area. We will be back for sure, possibly with horses next time!
Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The location was perfect - easy drive, but secluded and very peaceful. Great fishing for a family! Our young son put his line in and within minutes would get a bite. The gorgeous firepit provided hours of joy and relaxation. We made our dinner over the fire, made S'mores, and told stories by fire light well into the night.
But hands down the absolute best part of our stay was the property owners! So kind, thoughtful, and generous. They took time out of their very busy day and gave us an amazing tour of their acreage. Our son LOVES animals and nature and the experience Mr. Spradling gave him was better than Disney World. We are so grateful for the lifelong memories they gave us.
Highly recommend staying!

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Very Unhappy
The property is overgrown and not kept up where the bunk house is, if we had wanted to use the grill we would have had to clean it ourselves, the floor shifts when you walk and it is known by the staff. We couldnt enjoy the porch as it was swarming with wasps, the staff knew and offered no help we bought 4 cans of spray. The toilets didnt flush well, the house wasnt clean. The ponds we could get to were covered with moss and the place for swimming was full of moss and tree limbs. We only stayed because we had our dogs and our home was being remolded while we were taking what we thought was going to be an enjoyable week. We left a day early. I could go on but I would run out of space.
We fish a lot in the area and had an amazing stay at the Dos Equis Ranch lake cabin. We can’t wait to come back. Ron was incredibly easy to work with and had everything ready for us upon arrival. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
Me and a lifelong friend went together and we had a fantastic time. If you are looking for a high tech home and fancy appliances and furniture than this is probably not for you. This is a true working ranch and is absolutely beautiful. We were free to room the entire gigantic ranch. It has many ponds to fish in and 1 large body of water as well. We are outdoorsmen and went to enjoy the fishing and outdoors. We caught multiple fish and saw lots of wildlife. If you do go the cabin has the necessary cooking equipment but you will need to bring or get things like spices, Flour ect, ect... I LOVED MY STAY!!! THAN YOU RON!!!
For those who want to unwind and relax. Leave the faced pace life behind you and check out this little slice of heaven. While it is rustic and no frills... what you get is the song of the crickets and the twinkling stars to light the night. You can cool off in the lake right outside your door or take a drive to the waterfall swimming hole. Just watch for cattle as you drive through the creek to get there!! You do have a smart tv so bring your own password for Hulu/Netflix and others; cell service is strong and the cabin has wifi. Ron your host and Willie your ranch hand are excellent and accommodating! I drove 16 hrs each way to stay on this ranch... it was well worth it. *For those with families... the kitchen is big enough to prepare a Thanksgiving feast comfortably!!!!! Thank you Ron for supplying such an enchanting place to escape to...
