Stonewater Pines: Riverfront Property on 60 Acres
***Our booking calendar is typically available 3-4 months out, but feel free to shoot us a message if you're interested in a later date!***
Nestled within Catskill Park, Stonewater Pines is a distinctive luxury rental which encapsulates the pristine natural beauty of the Western Catskills. The property offers stunning views and over 1,000 feet of frontage on the world famous Beaverkill River, providing guests with a nature immersive experience not typically expected only two hours from NYC.
Stonewater Pines blends uniquely curated decor with modern amenities to provide every guest with an upscale yet comfortable stay. We believe that an immersive outdoor experience paired with luxurious overnight accommodations creates the ultimate unforgettable getaway. With sweeping views of the legendary Beaverkill River, each room at Stonewater Pines offers guests a different vantage point of the property’s incredible natural surroundings.
Guests at Stonewater Pines have access to a variety of outdoor activities without even having to leave the property:
FLY FISHING
At Stonewater Pines, fly fishing on the world's most famous trout stream is literally at your fingertips. With over 1,000 feet of direct Beaverkill River frontage, novice and experienced anglers alike can experience why the Beaverkill is known as the cradle of American fly fishing. We are happy to coordinate a private guide for you and your group, either directly in front of the Hemlock House, or on another stretch of river. Guides book up well in advance, so give us a shout!
HIKING
Enjoy a hike right from the Hemlock House on a private trail system designed by local trail expert Cima Bue. For those looking for a lengthier excursion, we are 8 minutes from the Trout Pond/Mud Pond hiking trails, and 10 minutes to an entrance of the Finger Lakes Trail, a 1,000+ mile trail system connecting Catskill Park with Niagara Falls.
YOGA
With multiple tranquil locations within the Hemlock House and throughout the property, yogis will find themselves at home here. The sound of the gently rushing water of both the river and stream make for a particularly zenlike experience. Yoga mats are provided with your Hemlock House stay.
BIRDWATCHING
From the largest Bald Eagle to the smallest Ruby-Throated Hummingbird, guests at Stonewater Pines are treated to an incredible variety of bird species (over 50 and counting so far!) Whether sitting on the back deck or walking through the forest, both amateur and seasoned birdwatchers will find themselves at home here.
STARGAZING
For those of us who spend part of our lives in urban areas, few sights are more breathtaking than looking up at the night sky once the city lights fade away. Take a cocktail out to the firepit on a dark night, and admire the bevy of constellations, shooting stars, and even satellites that remained elusive only a few hours prior.
SNOWSHOEING
Our private trail system only becomes more beautiful after a snowfall. Strap on a pair of our complimentary snowshoes and explore the property's magical tranquility in wintertime. Keep a close eye out for winter wildlife (or the tracks they leave behind in the snow!).
