Kids will love the 3 season's room that converts to a sleeping area with the double pull out sofas. This home is truly beautiful family escape with the back patio, fire pit and huge lawn this is a place to make some family memories. Don't forget to bring your waders and fishing rod as this stretch of the stream is well stocked or just play in the water on a hot day. Minutes from Fort Necessity, Ohiopyle State Park, downtown Ohiopyle and Yough Lake--so much to see and do in the area you'll be planning your next trip before you leave! Not that you have to have it, when you come to the mountain but the cabin comes equipped with Large Smart TV in the living room and EXCEPTIONAL Wifi/Internet speed! This home sits at 2000 feet elevation. From November 1st to March 31st AWD/4WD is highly recommended to get to the property and enjoy the area safely!

This property was amazing. It was even better than the pictures could've showed. My boys loved the creek, there was a nice yard to play in and the house was very nice inside. Everything was clean and organized. We were pleasantly surprised and hope to get to stay again in the future.

Very comfortable and charming cabin beside a lovely creek. Host was communicative and the stay was great for a family with kids old enough to play in the creek. It was also the hottest weekend of the year and the AC worked perfectly, which was a big relief. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing space. Kids played in the stream the entire time we stayed here. I caught a few tiny broom trout on the fly. Fire pit every night. Saw several deer while we took advantage of the outdoor space. Close proximity to everything in Ohiopyle. Will absolutely stay again!

The property was as pictured and advertised. There was lots of room and it was very peaceful. I spent every morning outside by the creek with my coffee and we even had a fire in the pit one night. While the road is somewhat close it was not a busy road. We saw rabbits, deer, chipmunks and turkeys on the grounds and really felt part of nature.The house it self was well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of paper products, dish and hand soap, You will need shampoo and soap for the shower. There were plenty of linens and extra pillows. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, mixing bowls and all the utensils we could need. It was one of the best stocked and best laid out properties we've stayed at and we've stayed at lots.So why only 4 stars you ask well the main reason was the bed. I never comment on beds because it's all a matter of preference but these beds had vinyl covers that made so much noise ever time you moved it made for a very bad nights sleep. After the first night we but a blanket and bedspread under the fitted sheet witch cut the noise and allowed for better sleep the rest of the nights. Also we found mouse droppings most days, We live in a rural are and know this is just part of the deal but wanted to mention for anyone who may have a phobia like my sister. Over all a great place to use as a base camp where you can return from a day of hiking, rafting or just exploring and truly relax. We would definitely stay here again

Nice Quiet Getaway
