Enjoy this secluded 4-bedroom 2-bathroom home nestled in the woods! In a central location just outside of Bristol, this home is located 10 minutes from Middlebury, 20 from Shipshewana and about 40 from NOTRE DAME!!! Have a barbecue on the front porch with gas grill and sitting area. Enjoy a peaceful setting on the back deck overlooking the woods. Or roast marshmallows and have a relaxing evening sitting around the fire pit, wood supplied!

Great quiet place

First time using vrbo so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I couldn't have selected a better place. Clean quiet place with plenty of space in a woodsy setting. This is exactly what I was looking for. I would stay here again!

This home was even more spacious than the photos suggested. It would be perfect for a larger group or family with its four comfortable bedrooms. The setting was absolutely gorgeous and private, tucked away on a heavily wooded lot that was spectacular with the fall colors. I really appreciated the small exercise room with an elliptical and weights, as well as the separate office space, which was ideal since I work remotely. Being able to park in the garage on rainy days was a bonus, too. The host was very responsive to my questions and kindly allowed me to add an extra day at the end of my stay. I’d love to return!

Reunion getaway

Traveled to the elkhart area for a family reunion. The house and location was amazing. Turns out the host knew my family that was hosting our reunion. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again.

So relaxing!

The only sounds were the crickets and frogs. Peaceful and relaxing yet quite close to all sorts of things to do. Numerous places for games, puzzles, or crafts. We highly recommend Essenhaus for a traditional dinner meal.

Quiet retreat

Nice quiet property in the woods. Secluded, but close to anything you need. Had a couple fires, grilled a couple times, and enjoyed the first floor and lower level areas to hang out. Would recommend.

We needed a place to stay while we had service work done on our RV. House was very comfortable, away from other houses, nice pond and wooded area, close to restaurants, and the yard was the perfect size for our dog (away from the road and neighbors). Owners were great at responding very quickly to any inquiries, both prior to and during our stay.

Beautiful home hidden away from the city

The house is sooo nice! It’s very spacious and clean. The check in process was seamless and I immediately felt comfortable in the house. If you’re looking for a place that’s in a country setting but close to all the city amenities, this house is perfect!
