Our host Ian was very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our quiet spot and loved walking into Grecia to the market every morning. Also, it’s a great location to explore other areas near by. I’d definitely book again when coming back.

Property would have been perfect if all the windows have screen to allow fresh air in and to avoid mosquitoes from coming in to enjoy a good night sleep.

I think is nice the only thing is about neighbors dog, they cross over to the rented property and we have to be careful with the gate so he does not get out, and sometimes they poop on the driveway.
I will never rent this property again. The kitchen sink pipe broke due to daily use and the owner blamed me. The property is in desperate need of maintenance and the kitchen doors were broken. I reported the issue and the owner didn’t fix the issue until the following day. The kitchen floor was full of water so I left from the property right away. I requested for a full refund.

Response from VrboOwner on 18 August 2024
These guests requested the key of the property one day before the actual check in date, we tried to addressed the unusual request, supposedly they needed a parking spot. We provided a solution.
Then they were requesting for also a very an unusual late check out of more than 8h for free.
Among all the odds, they broke a pipe in the kitchen and damaged a cabinet’s door. After this, they run away, and did not want to pay for the reparations.
I do not recommend other hosts to accept these guests.

Wasn't what I expected
Here are some the pros: nice location on a residential street, easy access to downtown if you walk (about seven blocks away), nice shower head, big bed (but I found mattress uncomfortable so was glad I brought a memory foam mattress topper with me), owner was always responsive and very nice. Cons: no one was there to greet me when I arrived (had to wait 20 min), leaking roof in several rooms (they sent someone to repair but it was not completely fixed), outdoor furniture was all broken and when I complained it was replaced by owner's family with a plastic chair which wasn't that comfortable for a 6-week stay, lots of leaf cutter ants in backyard that bite (have to watch your dogs and children), can't use front yard at all because it belongs to family member but you have to watch that their dog doesn't get out when you open the gate since their dog has access to your driveway, furniture in general was not that comfortable. It looks nice but it was really hard on my back. Also, when it rains the open roof garden section in living room gets about 2 ft of the tile wet all around it. So you're constantly wiping up rain on the tile. As previous poster stated, house needs some repairs and upgrades. It served my needs for 6 weeks but it wasn't what I was expecting. I wish I could have spent more time outdoors but the outdoor furniture was just not conducive to doing that.responsive
