This dreamy garden studio is located in the heart of lovely Kensington, walking distance to plenty of unique shops & restaurants, and a quick 20 minute drive to the famous San Diego beaches. Come unwind in this stylish, tranquil escape!



The Space:

You'll be greeted with serene decor and a light & bright vibe at this Kensington gem! Outside you'll find a cozy, private seating area, surrounded by plants. Inside, you walk into the bedroom which has a queen-size bed facing a smart TV with all the streaming apps. Turn left, and you're in an adorable, well-stocked kitchen made for two. The back hallway leads to closet space and a bathroom complete with shower-bath combo.



Guest Access:

Guest access is completely contactless; you will be given a lockbox code 3 days prior to arrival. Street parking is free and unregulated.



The Neighborhood:

If you're looking for idyllic cafes and a charming setting, Kensington is the place for you! Of all the older urban neighborhoods in San Diego, this neighborhood is one of the most desirable to live in, mainly due to its peaceful vibe and close-knit community.



Kensington is located between the neighboring communities of Normal Heights and City Heights in central San Diego and is only a short drive away from Downtown and the San Diego Bay. This central location combined with the small-town community vibe makes this neighborhood a wonderful place to visit.

Free, unregulated street parking is easy to find in this neighborhood, which is comprised of primarily single family homes.

Everything was as expected in the cute little space. I loved it the neighbourhood was so cute! When I had trouble getting in it was easy to get someone on the line and she was very kind and apologized that I was having difficulties.

Only real issue is there was a lot of noise coming from the tenants upstairs, bathroom needs a exhaust vent, bed wasn’t the best, but overall great place to stay!

The property is in easy walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. It was very clean and the neighborhood is nice. It was very comfortable for 1 person and probably for a couple.

We had a great visit to San Diego and the quaint Kensington neighborhood. It was easy to walk a short block to Adams and explore dining and shops, and evening else was a short drive. ThThr apartment was clean and well furnished.

Kensington is a great location for visiting San Diego. You can walk to great restaurants, and it's an easy drive to parks, breweries, and beaches. The studio is pleasant and comfortable. We will stay again, wr hope!

Adorable Kensington Getaway

This apartment was the perfect space for me to feel at home in Cali while visiting my daughter at SDSU. Looks just like the photos - stylishly decorated and well outfitted with everything I needed, including a sound machine to provide peace at night. Host was very responsive and helpful. I loved hanging out in the garden in the morning and drinking coffee (provided by the host), and walking to downtown Kensington to grab a bite to eat or shop. Thank you for letting me stay at your beautiful oasis!

Zen Getaway

This unit is absolutely AMAZING! the host was quick to respond. Super accommodating to our arrival time. the entire unit was more then expected. the outdoor seating area was so perfect for reflection time Zen garden and was immaculate landscaping. The studio was larger then I expected. Now let me tell you about that stove! My dream stove needless to say we ate in and I loved every minute of cooking. Bathroom was fully stocked. Loved the beach chairs and beach towels for our park visits no sitting on the ground. Will Absolutely stay again. made our weekend perfect!

Traveler Beware

The renters from upstairs will ruin your vacation. They are loud and inconsiderate. Kept us up every night after 12 am. Sounds like they're moving furniture all night. Then they wake up at 5:30 am for work and start grinding coffee at that time. When they leave their dog barks and barks.I've never left a negative review but this was a horrible stay. It's too bad because the studio is nice and comfortable but it's not fair to the travelers. Didn't confront tenants because you never know how people react. Hopefully owners will do something because I won't be the only one complaining.
