This Mountain Thunder Lodge 2-bedroom is built for guests who want to be at the center of Breckenridge without paying for a premium resort address. Stone gas fireplace, heated indoor pool, shared hot tubs, and fitness center on-site. The gondola tunnel alone makes this one of the best-positioned units in town.

Mountain Thunder Lodge connects directly to the BreckConnect Gondola through a private underground tunnel — and Main Street Breckenridge is a short walk from the front door. This 2-bedroom is built for guests who want to be at the center of everything without paying a premium resort address.

The open-concept living area features a stone gas fireplace, plush bedding, and a gourmet kitchen with stainless-steel appliances. The expansive wrap-around deck delivers panoramic mountain views. Air-conditioning fans are available in both bedrooms and the living room.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire condo and all Mountain Thunder Lodge amenities — the heated indoor pool, hot tubs, fitness center, private guest locker room, BBQ grill, and underground heated parking. Guests also have access to One Ski Hill Place amenities including pools, spa, bowling, media room, and shuttle service.

Access is via electronic key cards and parking passes issued at check-in.

This property is professionally managed by Gilson Property Group — not an individual host. Every stay is prepared to the same standard: thorough cleaning, quality linens, and responsive support from booking through checkout.

We give guests their space. If anything comes up — a question about the property, a local recommendation, or a concierge request — we are reachable through the VRBO messenger and respond promptly.

Before your stay, we will ask you to complete a quick identity verification through our guest portal. It takes just a few minutes and is how we ensure every Gilson stay is seamless and secure. A valid driver's license and rental agreement are all that is needed to confirm your check-in details.

A $250 security deposit is collected prior to arrival — similar to a hotel holding a credit card on file — and released in full after checkout once all access items are returned. Guests may also choose a non-refundable Damage Waiver instead, selected during the pre-arrival verification process.

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect with easy access to the gondola and Main Street. We didn’t ski in but met several people in the building that said it was easy to do and we should consider it next time. There will definitely be a next time!

Check in directions were incorrect. Specifically, instructions had us go to the wrong building to retrieve the room key. Stay was promised garage parking. No spaces except for ADA were available. VRBO advertised bedroom two containing two beds. Second bed was a fold-out bed that would not fit in bedroom two. Management said it could go in the master or living room. Living room would not accommodate it with sofa sleeper pulled out. Linens for spare bed were dirty. Luckily there were extra linens and we could use the sofa bed. Communication with management was difficult when we were checking in. I dialed the on-call number, had a difficult time understanding the person’s accent, and the staff was unable to help me find the key. The gentlemen said he would call me back but never did. We fortunately were able to alert the on-site staff was able to suggest looking for the key in the other building’s lobby.

Absolutely amazing stay at this property! The two bedroom / two bath floorplan made it perfect for everyone to have their own space and get a good night’s rest-very comfortable beds! We loved our stay in Breck! It was a very nice townhome with everything we needed. We went on a last minute trip for a much needed getaway. We were out and about most of the day but just came back here to chill at night. It was very homey and comfy and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. I would come back!

Family ski trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Mountain Thunder condo. The location was ski in off of Four o'clock & was probably the closest walk to catch the Gondola up to Peak 8. We utilized the shuttle for family sledding day at Carter park & several family dinners out in downtown Breck. They were great. We did alot of cooking & the kitchen was well appointed. The Grandbabies loved the pool & hot tubs located right there. We will definitely stay again!
