Short spring break

It was very nice to have two hot tubs and two pools. The heated pool was perfect as when we can it was a bit of a drop in temperature. The shower was the only complaint just have to wait a few minutes for the water to be warm again

Great Beach Property

Property was a quick walk to the beach for out little boys. Shower at the end of the boardwalk was perfect! We had everything we needed at the condo to cook all our meals and was an easy drive to town for the shops.

Condo on the Beach

Lots of fog, cool breezes and we still had a great time. Rest and sat on the balcony. Beautiful and easy walk to beach.

Beach Views!

My family and I had a great stay! The condo was clean and nice stocked with all the kitchenware we needed! The balcony was amazing!! We had our morning coffee with an amazing view every morning! My kids loved the pool after the beach and were amazed it was 8 ft deep!

Great condo!

Perfect little condo by the beach. The place was clean and well outfitted for our long weekend. Having 2 bedrooms with queen beds and their own bathrooms was super nice. The balcony overlooked the ocean and having coffee out there every morning watching the waves was perfect. Beach access was very easy to access and the pools were clean and grounds well taken care of. 10/10 recommend

Great Location

We enjoyed the property, the balcony was nice for evening relaxation. The location to the beach was great, just a short walk over the sand dunes. We were only a couple of miles from shopping and restaurants. The property was under construction, but other than some elevator issues, it was not a problem and did not affect us in the unit.

Beachfront Side View

The beach was walking distance however, please be sure to bring a good study beach umbrella and lounge chairs, the water was clear and lots of oil particles could be seen in both the water and sand on the beach as well. Swimming pools and property area were very clean. Front dest staff reacts quickly to resolve any disputes or problems in the unit. unit was very clean and salt/pepper was on hand. It was quite and a wonderful stay! Great service in everyway! It is a side view of the beach though not a front view. Still was nice...

Good vacation with a few negatives

We had a great vacation. We were there 4 days/3 nights. The complex was nice and quiet, and has great beach access via the boardwalk. The portion of the beach in front of the condominium complex is not as heavily used as closer to Port Aransas. The complex has 2 pools and 2 hot tubs. They all looked very well kept and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub each night. We enjoyed this quieter part of Mustang Island. The condo was well equipped with new appliances, new washer/dryer, furnishings & great patio furniture and very comfortable bedding. The bathrooms were well equipped and clean. There were a few negatives. The dishes we pulled out of the cabinets on the first day were dirty - still had crusted on food. And there was a skillet that had been left crusted with black burnt food. That is probably one thing that led to our finding roaches in this pan and the cabinets and a couple on the floors. Another negative was the musty smell of a unit with issues keeping down the humidity. The A/C ran non-stop the entire time, but the musty, mildewy smell was always there and we had to put things like towels and swimsuits in the dryer to get them to dry because of the humidity. At night, we sprayed essential oil sprays on our pillowcases to not have to smell it all night.

Our stay at La Mirage was fantastic. The condo was roomy and clean with all kitchen appliances (with the exception of toaster) The short walk to the beach was beautiful and convenient. The condo grounds were clean and inviting with beautiful pools and plenty of family games. We look forward to returning!!!

Enjoyed the renovated condo, would have given 5 stars however the condo had a funny smell the first few days. Condo is a little further from main restaurants and shops, but only a short drive by car or golf cart down the beach. Overall it worked for us and our visiting family that also rented in La Mirage.

Girls trip

Had a great trip. Couple of things tho. I would say it does not fit 5 adult women comfortably. The guest room is too small of a bed for 2 adults unless it’s maybe your partner and you want to snuggle. There is a pull out couch but takes up the entire space.Also we ran out of toilet paper in both bathrooms twice. So there should be a stash of toilet paper in each bathroom. Also not being able to adjust the thermostat below 70 at night was a no go. 5 menopausal women get hot when we sleep especially with humidity. Those were the only things we would have suggested or talked about. Otherwise great little place
