An easy and short walk to the private beaches of Southern Shores, the Dune Ranch is the perfect backdrop for your Outer Banks getaway. A quintessential surf shack with wide open living spaces providing plenty of room to gather with family or friends.
Tucked in the dunes just a short drive to the Town of Duck waterfront, explore the live oak lined multi-use pathways and trails throughout the neighborhood or launch your boat from the local marina less than one mile away.
Located just a block from the beach, The Dune Ranch has spacious open living areas, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. An easy walk and less than 60-second drive to the beach.

This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, single level beach cottage. The home can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably with a king bed, queen bed and two single beds. The primary bedroom offers an ensuite with full bathroom. There is a large living room with ample seating that flows into the dining and kitchen spaces.

You will be started with a few items including:

✔ 5 dishwasher pods
✔ 5 laundry pods
✔ A few starter rolls of toilet paper (3)
✔ 1 roll of paper towels
✔ 5 trash bags
✔ 1 kitchen sponge
✔ Dish soap
✔ 10 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 6 wash clothes, 4 dish towels

Bed linens and bath towels, bath mats, washcloths, and dish towels are provided and washed between every guest.

We hope you enjoy our backyard. The garden and lawn are on a scheduled sprinkler system. No need to water it. We have a landscaper who tends the garden and yard.

To park at the local private beach accesses, we will provide you with two parking permits. The permits will need to remain at the property for the next guest's use. One permit is for access to the Southern Shores marina.

You will have complimentary use of 6 beach towels. If you choose to use these we ask that you please wash/dry/fold and leave them as found.

Please roll trash cans out on Sunday and Wednesday evenings for trash collection and roll the recycling can out on Thursday night.

We love Southern Shores because the private beaches lend to a quiet, family-friendly crowd. The local marinas and trails connecting the neighborhood make it pedestrian and bike-friendly. You can safely traverse across town and stay out of traffic on the back streets. The low-speed limit throughout town allows street-legal golf carts to drive you to dinner in the Town of Duck or for ice cream at the Southern Shores Marketplace.

What makes this property unique

The absolute best part is the easy walk to the beach. It's incredible how many times a day you'll enjoy a sunshine-filled walk to and from the beach. We also love the open floorplan and one-level living. The outdoor shower is refreshing after a long day at the beach or a workout in the morning.
