The Overlook at Ithaca offers a contemporary one-bedroom guesthouse nestled on a secluded estate, boasting breathtaking views of Cayuga Lake from its elevated vantage point. With a sleeping capacity for three guests, featuring a queen bed and a supplementary twin rollaway cot, you'll find yourself mere minutes from the area's renowned wineries, gourmet dining, and iconic landmarks. Spanning 1,000 sq. ft., this newly-constructed apartment showcases majestic cathedral ceilings, top-tier finishes, and a gourmet chef’s kitchen. The expansive floor-to-ceiling windows not only bathe the space in natural light but also present you with uninterrupted panoramic vistas of Cayuga Lake. Here, you'll have the privilege of witnessing spectacular sunsets, the grace of bald eagles in flight, and the whimsy of drifting hot air balloons right from your comfortable abode.

Long weekend in Ithaca

This property has a beautiful view and a great location. The street itself is not too busy however there are several interesting sites all within 10-15 minutes. The host has thought of everything in the home to make your stay very comfortable.

Beautiful place far enough away but very close to town

This place was perfect for a very relaxing stay visiting Ithaca. You are out of the city center to avoid the congestion but very close to do whatever you want. The view is magnificent. We watched the sunset over the lake and all the boats. The host was very nice and accommodating.

Great Views and Comfort

We stayed a week, wanting to get out and hike a few gorges and waterfalls. Had a great time. Jordan was always available and helpful. Place is a good as the pictures, even better. Close to everything we wanted to do and see. Comfortable and clean. Everything we could want was provided.

The property is wonderful and the view is incredible. Jordan thought of everything you might want and then did more. Instructions were helpfully affixed to where you needed them - rather than buried in a book. Jordan very responsive to communications. Ithaca is GORGES!

Impeccably clean and wonderful view

Had a great stay while visiting our daughter at Cornell. The apartment was immaculate upon our arrival and we were immediately taken with the gorgeous floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake! The apartment is beautifully decorated and the host has thought of absolutely every detail to inside comfort from the quality of towels and linens, to coffee service and biscotti, discreet labels to help us find kitchen items and entertainment options. Communication was quick and easy and the location is quiet and very private. We will return!
