Excellent location, just a mile or so from the park. The house is well appointed with every amenity imaginable. Decor and design are worthy of Architectural Digest. Perfect stay.

This was by far my Best stay with Vrbo. The house was so well equipped and even more importantly, It Felt Like a Home. The owner set very clear instructions and communicates very well. If you’re in 29 Palms this place is perfect as well as impressive you’ll see what I mean the second you check in.

Great for exploration

The Blue Ox Bungalow is a great starting point for exploration into Joshua Tree National Park. A short, easy drive to the North Entrance. Clean and comfortable lodging, clear communication from the owner and a short walk to the JTNP Visitors Center and other prime Twentynine Palms offerings. The traffic noise didn't wake the kids up and the place was otherwise ideal for our family spring break adventure.

29 Palms Bungalow

The Blue Ox Bungalow was beautifully appointed and anything we needed was there, obviously the owner/mgr had everything well thought out. We thought it was charming. It was centrally located to restaurants and a Joshua Tree entrance and visitor center. We did find traffic a bit loud, esp. on a Saturday night though.

Comfortable and cared for

The bungalow was quaint but had everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Kitchen was well-stocked. Bathroom was beautiful! We really enjoyed the backyard, we had a fire one night, our boys played cornhole, and enjoyed using the Blackstone. Many extras went into this property, such as complimentary snacks. It was close to the main highway, but this also made restaurants and the JTNP visitor office in walking distance. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely top-notch stay at this charming bungalow! From the moment we arrived,the atmosphere was warm and inviting,with a perfect balance of cozy comfort and thoughtful design. It’s clear that a lot of love and work went into creating this space - it’s truly a home away from home.The bungalow was stocked with everything we needed,making it stress free and enjoyable.Every detail was carefully considered ,from the well equipped kitchen to the plush bedding and cozy nooks perfect for relaxing.It was the perfect blend of modern amenities and character-filled charm.I can’t recommend this property enough and can’t wait to return for another visit.Danielle is the perfect host.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This property is a great location for a weekend desert getaway. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The house was clean, cozy, and had all the comforts we needed for a memorable stay. The standout features of this property were the well-stocked kitchen and incredibly comfortable beds. Not only was it equipped with all the essentials, but we were pleasantly surprised to find an array of snacks and treats waiting for us. It was a delightful touch that made us feel truly pampered. Location-wise, this property couldn't have been better. It's centrally located, easily walkable to restaurants and bars, and a short drive to Joshua Tree National Park. It's definitely on our list to visit again!

All the details!

The house was super cute, clean and comfortable! We stayed in the summer with 100 degree temps and the house was nice and cool. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked for any cooking you want to do and the whole town is walkable from the house. With that being said, make sure you are comfortable with being in the middle of everything at a somewhat busy intersection. We like being close to everything in all the towns we visit, including small towns, so this was perfect. My girls loved the house so much they chose to cook while we were there rather than go out for every meal. It was a great little stay in a perfect little house!

A little private spot in 29

The house is so restful and beautiful. I cooked simple meals here after time in Joshua Tree National Park and had everything I needed. We watched movies on the giant TV and roasted marshmallows outside at night. Even though the little house is in a busy part of town, it quieted down at night and the backyard is so private. It’s right next to a Denny’s and a few blocks from other restaurants so it was convenient. (If you’ve ever lived in a town or city, the regular outside sounds wont be an issue.) the host is unbelievably responsive. Highly recommend.

The house is centrally located to stores, restaurants, and hiking trails. The hosts have considered almost every need that may arise while a person is away from home. The house is comfy, well stocked, with many ways to fill downtime- cornhole, fire pit, chess board and other board games. It helped us to make an unforgettable last minute visit to see my nephew who is stationed close by. I appreciate the host’s timely, thorough responses to my questions and the digital guidebook they provide their guest.
