This home was located in a quiet neighborhood within close walking distance to downtown Old Forge and was close to bike trails, walking/running trails, and other things to do in the area. We loved the basement area that had a pool table, Ping Pong table, darts, and shuffleboard. It also had a mini kitchen, bar, and living room as well. The only negative feedback or advice for future renters I can give is that two bedrooms are located directly off the kitchen so early risers had to be careful not be make noise for others that slept later. Overall this was a great rental in a great location.

Easy access, nice quiet spot in a perfect location. Just a 10 minute walk to old forge. There were plenty of areas for walking. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Fire pit was perfect and check in flawless and we will definitely book here again.

Relaxing in Thendara

We had a great stay with grandma and kids. The house is everything it was billed to be and we were a short walk or drive from everything in Old Forge. We would definitely book again.

Family vacation

This was a beautiful house and was well stocked with whatever we needed. The weather wasn’t great, so it’s good that there’s so much to do at this house.

Comfortable accommodations with plenty of space to hang out.

Would certainly consider returning to a pleasant home away from home. Communication with home owner was exceptional & readily available.

Great stay at an amazing home

We were blown away at how beautiful this property is. You just feel so cozy and “At home”. I would recommend to anyone who not only loves the Adirondacks, but who also loves an amazing, spacious place to spend with family or friends. I will definitely book again!!

Just as listed

Everything was just as listed. Great spot that wasn't in town to enjoy a little bit of nature but close enough to everything old forge has to offer.

Girls weekend 2024

We had a great time at this gorgeous property! The house was spotless, well appointed and beautifully decorated. Great location just outside of Old Forge. We are a group of friends/family in our 60’s. The only “issue” we had was getting into the very high beds, we had a lot of laughs trying. Highly recommend this place.

Great for Entertaining

This home had it all. The fully furnished basement had a large screen TV, pool table, shuffleboard table and wet bar. Great open space to play games with the grandkids. The main floor has a well laid out floor plan so everyone can be together while cooking, eating and conversing by the fire. And the furniture left no expense. Everything was well done in character with the home and very comfortable.

The pictures don't do it justice: the house is beautiful! So nicely decorated and everything was just beautiful. That game room was so much fun, you never need to leave! We enjoyed every minute.
