Snowberry Cabin in Mazama, WA
Snowberry Cabin is a beautiful, cozy retreat nestled against the Okanogan National Forest on the MVSTA trail one mile east of the Mazama Junction. Ski, hike or bike out the front door with direct access to Goat Creek Trail and beyond to the entire MVSTA trail system. This custom designed, woodsy cabin features the creative use of reclaimed materials and the spacious, open floorplan is ideal for gatherings. Peaceful forest views abound in every direction.
The second floor features two private bedrooms, each with a queen deluxe futon bed. The large bunkroom sleeps four with a queen futon sleeper sofa, twin bed and built-in loft bunkbed. This family friendly retreat features a selection of toys, games, puzzles and kid-friendly videos/DVDs for your enjoyment. Other amenties include a well equipped kitchen, woodstove and clawfoot bathtub. Snowberry Cabin is truly a special place to enjoy the Methow Valley.
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT YEAR ROUND TRAVEL INFORMATION--READ BEFORE BOOKING A RESERVATION:
1)It is the responsibility of the guest to have travel plans in place to travel either over the North Cascades via Highway 20 OR to travel over Steven's Pass through Leavenworth OR to travel I-90 over Snoqualmie to Blewett Pass through Wenatchee and then up the Columbia river to the Methow Valley. If one route is closed, it is the YOUR responsibility to make alternate plans for travel. NO REFUNDS will be given at any time of the year simply because an alternate route must be taken and add additional travel time. Highway 20 is closed in the winter and mountain passes can be closed anytime of the year because of wildfires, rockslides or other occurrences. Directions over all the routes will be sent to. you 3 days before your arrival. Make sure to check pass reports(and they can change while you are en route) and print out the directions before you leave.
2)Trail Access/Closure Information:
If you are coming to hike, bike, or ski on a trail or system of trails which happen to be closed before or during your stay, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN because of this. Trail closures can occur anytime because of fire, rockslides, mud flows...and we have no control over this. There are many hiking, biking trails of various kinds in the Methow Valley. If access to the North Cascades is closed via Hwy 20 because of any reason, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN because of this. There beautiful hikes in and around our valley that we would be happy to recommend.
