About this property

3 BR house with deck and large back yard located on bike trail & public bus stop

This 3 BR, 1900 square foot, bi-level house is located in south Fort Collins, CO. Our city has been nominated as one of the top cities to live in and vacation for nearly the last 20 years! Our home is located on the Mason bike trail that runs north and south and links up with the Spring Creek Trail that runs east and west, allowing you to access most of the city by trail.

The master bedroom is just off the main bathroom which has two sinks and a bathtub/shower. Located nearby is the second bedroom with a king bed. Near both bedrooms is the living room which has a large flat screen tv and a sectional couch that seats 6. Attached is the kitchen area that is fully stocked with a new dishwasher, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, drip coffee maker, pots/pans, silverware, and dishware. The modern kitchen has a booth for dining that seats four. The kitchen counter space can seat an additional 2 people for a fun and open space for visiting while cooking. The fully stocked kitchen has a sliding glass door that opens to a large backyard and a spacious deck that is the length of the house. The deck has a gas grill for summer BBQing. The view is of an open space that backs up to the Mason bike trail.

Downstairs in an additional living room area with a double recliner loveseat and standard loveseat. This setup is perfect for viewing shows on the downstairs flatscreen tv. Also downstairs is an additional extra large bedroom with a queen bed and a half bath that has a shower and toilet. Washer and dryer available on this lower level.

There is a two-car attached garage that will fit one car in the garage and can allow for another two cars in the driveway. There is also street parking.

Both the bike trail and the public free Max line bus stop are just a few minutes walk from the front door, and then you are on your way to the beautiful historic Old Town Fort Collins, the heart of our city! Colorado State University campus is a 10 minute drive or 15 minute bike ride/bus ride. Grocery stores, local shopping, a mall, big block stores like Target and Walmart, coffee shops, and restaurants are plentiful and within a couple of minutes walk and/or very easy biking or a short distance drive. If you love the outdoors like we do, the Horsetooth Reservoir, Poudre River Canyon, Lory State Park, and many other parks and open spaces are within a short distance. You can boat, fish, river tube, picnic, hike, and enjoy the outdoors easily every day! There are too many spaces and places to mention! Fort Collins is known for its bike trails, microbreweries, and local live music located all across the city (see the Visit Fort Collins website for calendar events in July). Our home is located just a bit away from this fun summer energy in a quiet family neighborhood with a large park/playground/tennis courts within a 3 minute walk, and yet you can easily access the entire city’s events.

The state's major highway I-25 is also just a 10 minute drive making the location perfect for visiting other major Colorado attractions. So, do you want to get out of town for some day trips? Located within a 30-40 minute drive is the beautiful Estes Park, a tourist town and gateway to the Rocky National Park. Located within a 10 minute drive from the major CO highway, we are one hour drive from Denver, CO and one hour from Cheyenne, WY. Located only 15 minutes south is downtown Loveland, Colorado, known for its local art and the popular 4th Street quaint shops, restaurants, and community events.
