Location, location, location! This home is a short 2 block walk to South Beach, a 4 block walk to Kid's Corner, and an 8-10 minute walk to South Haven's restaurants, shopping, pier, and the municipal marina. This beautifully remodeled five bedroom, three bath home has been decorated to provide you with lake and beach vibes. A highlight of the home is the 4-seater golf cart available to guests (at no extra cost) from March 15th through November 15th. Nothing feels more like vacation than riding around on a golf cart! The backyard features a 3-hole putting green for all to enjoy! Sip coffee on the front porch, grill on the large side deck or relax by the fire pit after a long day at the beach.

The five bedrooms are spacious and includes one on the main floor (king) next to a full bath (bathtub/shower combo), convenient for guests who have difficulty with stairs. Upstairs, you will find a room with 2 bunks (sleeps 4), a room with a king bed, and 2 bedrooms with queen-sized beds. The king bedroom has a workspace with a monitor. There are 2 full baths on the second floor, one with a bathtub/shower combo and one with a shower.

The kitchen is well-stocked with granite countertops and counter/table seating for 5. The dining room offers a large table with seating for 10 (plus two available folding chairs to fit 12). The spacious family room has plenty comfy seating for all, and a cozy ambiance from an electric fireplace which provides extra warmth in the cooler months or a heatless fire feature anytime. For an added bonus, the basement has a deluxe 2-player, 60-game video arcade and a foosball table for endless fun!

Outside you'll enjoy a fun and unique experience of having a 3-hole putting green in your own back yard! Putters, golf balls, and movable putt-putt obstacles provided. The home offers a large Weber grill on the side deck with two tables that comfortably seat 10 people. We also provide 6 bikes for your enjoyment (4 adult, 1 teen, 1 child). After a day at the beach, have fun playing an outdoor washer toss game, challenge your friends and family to a game of Giant Jenga or relax around the fire pit. We also provide 12 beach chairs (including 8 Tommy Bahama backpack beach chairs) a foldable wagon, a beach umbrella, beach toys, and coolers for your convenience.

Additional amenities we offer include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, paper towels, Ziplock bags, and napkins. We have board games, cards, and a giant Connect 4 game for your enjoyment. The home has two smart TVs (family room and bunk room), which allow you to log into your own streaming apps. We had the absolute best time at Kathy’s place in South Haven. We were just a few short blocks from the beach, definitely walkable, a few short blocks from town and we had access to a golf cart with a beach parking pass!! Both north and south beach are exceptional, lots of sand and fairly shallow water for little people. All in all, we could not have hoped for a better place to stay!!!

We had the best mother/daughter trip with friends and stayed at this beautiful VRBO for 3 nights. The location was perfect. The golf cart was a nice perk. The communication with the owner was amazing. Wish we had more time to explore this adorable town. We really enjoyed our stay here. The inside of the house is beautiful and it looks brand new with modern finishes throughout. The five bedrooms and three bathrooms are all big and beautifully decorated. It was nice to have three bathrooms with showers for our big family. We enjoyed hanging out together in the living room, and making meals in the fully stocked kitchen. The location of the house couldn’t be better- a short walk to the beach and a short walk to downtown. We spent a day downtown ice skating, shopping at the small stores, and even did a yoga class at Cafe Julia. The hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!

Very pretty and updated property, The owner was extremely responsive. I asked if there were any roasting sticks, there were not, but got delivered in a few hours. A lot to do at the property- putting green, fire pit, video games, board & card games, a lovely front porch with ceiling fans & nice back deck with seating for 10 or more. Perfect Beach Getaway

The Golden Sunray was the perfect house for our two families of 4. It was spacious, clean, homey and had everything we needed(kids stuff included), plus more. The beach and downtown area were just a short walk away and the hosts Charlie and Kathy were extremely accommodating. We had a great time, and couldn't be more thankful to have found this gem. What a lovely South Haven home! Location was easy walk to beach and town . Home had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. This house was perfect for our family vacation. The house had everything we needed including beach supplies, bikes, kitchen needs, soaps, towels, etc. Basically all you need to bring is clothing and food. That was such a big plus for us. A short walk to town and the beach. Loved using the gulf cart to get around town. The Kalhaven bike trail was a beautiful ride, a must if you are a biker. We can’t say enough about this house. We had a wonderful time!!

South Haven Rental - Large Family Home

For the PERFECT vacation rental house in South Haven, look no further. This property has everything, including items for the beach! All you need to bring is clothes and food. This property has been remodeled beautifully. Golf cart, foosball table and video arcade machine (50+ games), 5 bedrooms, 3 large bathrooms and a short walk to the beach and downtown…you will NOT be disappointed. New owners are very responsive to even minor requests. We would definitely rent again.

We are the Cruz family of 4, and our vacation home hosting journey began in 2023 in South Haven, MI. My husband enjoys home improvement projects. I love to decorate and host. Having vacation rental properties in South Haven is a perfect way to blend our hobbies in a city we also love to visit! We’ve also gotten our two kids involved and have enjoyed family time together creating two vacation homes to share with our guests. There is always some work to do when we go to the houses, but we also love our time together enjoying all the amenities of each home and all that South Haven has to offer. So much blood, sweat, tears, pride, and joy have gone into our two homes, Golden Sunray (blue) and Cardinal Cove (red). We hope to share them with you and your family/friends, and always appreciate the opportunity to host. We hope you choose our home for your special vacation memories.

Why they chose this property

We love the location of both our homes because they are close and easily walkable to South Beach on Lake Michigan, and downtown South Haven with all the delicious restaurants, fun shops, and wine tasting rooms. They are both older homes so they have a lot of unique charm, but with all the modern comforts and necessities for an easy and relaxing stay. It’s been so fun to decorate them both in a relaxing beach theme with fun colors and decor.

We strive to exceed our guests’ expectations by providing a fun, unique, comfortable home with countless amenities for all to enjoy. We pride ourselves in top notch guest service to make your stay as perfect as possible and we try to make each guest feel special and welcomed! As for the homes, what sets us apart at Golden Sunray (blue house) is the golf cart and 3-hole putting green in the back yard! For Cardinal Cove (red house) it’s the awesome game room, huge yard, and hot tub! And, I love the beach vacation vibe you feel the minute you enter each home!
