'The Adirondack Resort' is an open and comfortable 2,300sq ft, 4-bedroom home on the 10th T-box of the Desert Aire golf course. Home is situated across the street from the Columbia River, golf clubhouse, driving range, putting green, snack shack and a stone's throw to the community park, private swimming pool (open May 1 through Labor Day) and the boat launch. Renovated back yard which includes a new in ground, resort style swimming pool with tanning shelf that is both Heated and Cooled. Gazebos cover a new Hot Springs Spa and a gas fire pit with sitting area. Sono's music system provides high quality sound/music throughout the house, back yard and garage/pool table room. A block wall surrounds the back yard to provide shelter from the high desert winds. Pass through covered parking for your Boat, RV or Cars.
2 RV hook up's (1@30amp & 1@50amp) for $75/night OR park next door in the RV campground. Garage is equipped with a pool table (adults only), refrigerator/freezer and extra freezer.

Steve and Melinda were fantastic hosts and their home is simply AMAZING! Bring your family, friends and food and you’ll never have to leave what can only best be described as a vacation paradise! We stayed for three nights and didn’t leave the property at all, spending all day in the pool! The house is well-appointed and has everything you could need. The beds were super comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. I had a question during our stay and the hosts were prompt and helpful with their responses. We’d love to go back.

Annual Summer House

My family and I stayed for 5 days. We loved everything about it. Especially the pool. Its once a year my kids and my girlfriends kids get together and hang out. We loved the stereo and speakers throughout the property. Pool tables and pickleball were also a treat. Great times were had by all.

Annual Reunion

We have made this “our house” for three sisters/childhood friends to reconnect annually with our 92 yr old mother and mentor. The property is perfectly maintained and is improved each time we return. Desert Aire is friendly and relaxing. It’s a first rate property. We love it.

Ironman Crew Stay

A group of 8 of us stayed here as our home base for our Ironman Race we participated in Richland. The house was a great spot to relax before and after our race… with the hot tub, pool and plenty of outdoor lounging. It is a solid drive from Tricities area, so commuting back and forth isn’t super convenient… however, it felt like we had all the conveniences we needed nearby. Having access to a garage space was huge for us to store our bikes and equipment. Thank you for that! Would recommend!

Just what the guys needed!

Been doing a "guys weekend" for 20+ years with my high school friends. This place was great, had a pool! Say no more, but there was more, comfortable beds, roomy kitched, nice patch of yard for some toss games, hot tub, and located in a place where you know you will get good hot weather in the summer. As some guys that are in their 50's comfort is key to relax and have a couple beers and enjoy the pool and even play a round of golf.

A Quiet Retreat

The home is in a quiet area, with the golf course behind. We wanted a place to hang out together, with a pool and a hot tub and a pleasant place to sit outside, and this place hits all those ticks! The only place we went was into Matawa to the grocery store, far enough away to be an outing, near enough to go any time. We had some wind this year, but had plenty of time that being in the pool and hot tub were perfect. The house is SUPER comfortable and well kitted-out. Spacious, nicely designed, attractively decorated. This was our second stay and we hope to visit again next summer. That's about the best review one can give!

Just What We Were Looking For

This house is very comfortably furnished and fitted out with everything one needs. We wanted a comfy place to be warm with our own private swimming pool to play in. We spent the entire 5 days on the property, excepting when a few of us went to the store, to a winery and for a short walk down by the river, and one of us hit the golf course. Exactly what we had in mind. It is a house designed for vacation fun, with plenty to do right there: pool, pool table, hot tub, corn hole with just enough grass to play it on, lots of places to sit in sun or shade outside, plenty of comfy places to land inside with the AC keeping it cool. The master bedroom is expansive and the other rooms are plenty big. We didn't end up using all of the recreational opportunities there at the house - we loved the pool too much, and we hit perfect weather, but if it had been cooler or super windy, we would have had plenty to keep us busy. The kitchen has everything to prepare meals except the food! Steve (the owner) was quick to answer all of our questions (and patient too). We booked the place again for next year before we left. What better review is there than that?
