Overall positive experience. Pluses: location is great, right on the boardwalk. Condo is comfortable and amenities were good (pool, workout room). Kitchen was appropriately stocked for a short stay but we only made breakfast there. Minuses: no a/c in the condo itself, and our ceiling fan in the main area didn't work; someone had taped the disconnected chain to the fan fixture. There are pool towels but no beach towels, so need to bring these.
Treated like royalty and were not pressured into timeshare presentation, very relaxed atmosphere. Great complimentary fresh drip coffee available at the stand on the lobby. Will book again for longer stay to utilize the full jkitchen and BBQ!
This is our second time staying at the Worldmark in Seaside. We really enjoy being right on the promenade/beach front. Our room was on the fifth floor overlooking the pool area. The kids enjoyed the large pool and I enjoyed the two spas. Rooms were clean and concierge was pleasant and fast when we needed additional items. Only downside…the listing did not mention that I would be required to attend a presentation meeting as this is a timeshare. Check in demanded to charge me 40 until the presentation (60 minutes total) had been attended and then they would refund my money. I was in the presentation and sales pitch for 4 hours trying to leave and enjoy my vacation. As someone who is too nice and does not like confrontation, this was extremely hard to get out of. For a three night and two day stay it cut a big chunk out of our vacation time. Needless to say, staying at a Worldmark resort is no longer on my list of places to vacation.
