This was one of the best places we have stayed. The location was convenient. The scenery was beautiful along with the deer in the morning. We went and kayaked at the lake. The communication was as top notch with the host and the house had everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

We consider THE GATEHOUSE our home away from home. Summer or winter its welcoming atmosphere, delightful decor, and fully furnished kitchen are both soothing and a stimulating change. It is a quiet retreat for out of town family as well as a great place for a watch party. Thank you, Brandy, for your creative insight and thoughtful creature comforts. We look forward to our next GATEHOUSE retreat!

Prepared to be wowed! This property has everything you need for a relaxing stay! You are close to the interstate, yet the surroundings make you feel like you are tucked away in a beautiful wooded area away from distractions. You have the best of both worlds. The owner was gracious and very helpful! I would highly recommend this stay, and plan on returning myself.

Weekend visit

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The home is really unique and we loved the privacy. The bed was comfortable and communication was excellent with our host Brandy. We plan to return to this neat home whenever we visit our son and daughter in law.

Great place ..

It was quiet, unique and cozy.Location was perfect; close to whatever you would need within 6 minute drive. The cabin was lovely and the host Brandy was most helpful as need be. Great little trip to connect with my son while he attends UCO.

And this has been my first 4 star cleanliness review ever in 5 years of hosting. I hope we can make it a 5 star if you decide to stay with us in the future. I would love any feedback about wasn’t considered a 5 star clean.

Secluded and quaint

We loved this little find just outside of Edmond! The property is secluded with beautiful grounds that it doesn’t feel like you’re in the city. The cottage/cabin is so cute and furnished with everything you might need. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

we stayed for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! there were 3 deer in the driveway on our first night! also, sadly, the guest book was too full for us to sign, but that should tell you how loved this place is!!!

Charming little cabin in the woods

We absolutely love staying at The Gate House…we have done a long rental when we were moving and short weekend getaways with our grandkids…it is always so lovely to come back to a place that is relaxing, quaint and cozy…they are outstanding at service and taking care of details to make your stay the best possible…don’t miss an opportunity to relax and getaway , the memories and time spent here will be cherished

Girls Trip at the Gate House

My sister, mom and I all really enjoyed our stay at the Gate House! Brandy was so welcoming and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The house was gorgeously decorated with the most comfortable beds and pillows. We loved having a cocktail on the back patio in the evenings and listening to the turkeys gobble. We will definitely be back!

OSU Bound!

We stayed for a few days prior to taking our son to OSU! It was great place to unplug, play games and prepare for the big transition! It was great to have a locked gate keeping all of his belongings safe! This was our favorite place to stay!

Great Parents Weekend

Couldn’t book a reasonably priced place in Stillwater, and we lucked into this property in Edmond. Short 50 min drive to Stillwater, but that’s the least of the benefits. Beautiful house in a serene setting. It was perfect for our group, and we really enjoyed it. Will definitely stay here in the future if it’s available.
