A private house across the street from Malmok Beach, 17 minutes walk to high-rise hotels, hotel beaches, restaurants, malls, movie theater, casinos, nightlife, bowling, lighthouse, etc. 10 min walk to Hadicurari beach where you can do windsurfing, kite surfing, and other water sports, Arashi beach great for snorkeling and scuba diving. In case you don't want to walk, the bus route passes right in front of the house. Best location in Aruba!.

Lovely, quiet, well-appointed place in Aruba right across from a small nearly-private beach

If you're looking for a lovely place to stay on the North side of the island, this is a great option. This is a 2-bedroom apartment on the first floor of a house (owners live on the top floor, the other half of the first floor is still being remolded into an additional apartment). It was recently renovated -- everything is brand new as if October 20233. The layout is great: huge windows overlooking the ocean in the front, the two spacious bedrooms in the back (the king in the main bedroom was very comfy). It is just 1 mile south of boca catalina, but you can also just pop across the street to a small beach--a bit rocky, but almost always empty. The owners live on the 2nd floor -- they were friendly and accommodating -- never intrusive and with the thick walls in aruban houses the apartment was a quiet oasis. Check in and check out were handled by a friendly property manner and was a cinch. Two little things to be aware of: * The place is really new, so the kitchen has not yet accumulated the little things you would need to cook for yourself (spices, olive oil, tupperware, etc.). That will improve over time, I'm sure. * The couch in the living room is uncomfortable. I think it is an indoor/outdoor couch, which makes sense for a rental across from the ocean, but we found it to be an instance backache. But hey - we didn't come to Aruba to sit around, so it wasn't a big problem. Overall, this is a great place in one of the best locations on the island.

Why they chose this property

Malmok Beach in Aruba is a narrow sandy stretch that interrupts the limestone and rocky terrace along Malmok’s coast. Its shallow clear Caribbean waters make it a popular snorkeling spot in Aruba. Here catamarans and sailboats stop for a daytime snorkeling stop just off the shoreline. Reefs and sunken wrecks nearby afford excellent diving in Aruba. The calm and crystal clear waters (truly some of the best on the island) are perfect for a relaxing swim in the ocean. Malmok Beach is also the name of a residential area with sprawling homes and a variety of windsurfing residences in Aruba. The main road through the Malmok Beach area is leading to the California Lighthouse, Tierra del Sol 18-hole golf course, Arashi Beach, and other Aruba landmarks and activities. During early morning and late afternoon hours, the Malmok Beach road is a popular venue in Aruba for outdoor activities. Both locals and tourists hit the road, biking, and hiking for their daily workouts.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is on the first floor without a lift and consists of a living room with a kitchenette and dining area, a bedroom with a King bed, and a second bedroom with a Queen Bed. Both rooms with full Bathrooms. The apartment is very quiet and can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 4 people. The apartment has internet access via WiFi, air conditioning, and TV. The kitchen is complete with a refrigerator, microwave, and oven, and it is equipped for cooking and eating. The apartment comes complete with linen and towels for all guests and 4 beach chairs.
