Comfortable, clean, charming getaway cabin not too far from Washington. Great scenery and nearby attractions in Shenandoah valley. Great nearby roads for fall driving and colors.
The home is well maintained and was perfect for our family getaway. We played games by fire, watched movies and went for a lovely walk around Lake Laura. The close proximity to Bryce was also great for walks.
Cool little place, really enjoyed the back screened in deck. Would love to come up and use in the winter as well. Would recommend and will probably be back in the future.
My family had an extended stay due to a recent move to the area. From the 1st day it felt like home and was perfect for us. Communication with the property manager was good and she accommodated our every need without delay. Very convenient to the lodge and the nature was incredible in this spot.
Comfortable with enjoyable amenities and everything you need to get away from it all without having to get away from ALL of it! Our family stayed for 5 nights and everything was in lovely order when we arrived and Theresa had even included a welcome basket! I especially appreciated that some games were available in the house to help keep my 5 year old entertained! The only downside to the property may be the last two turns to get there- talk about a steep road! But that's hardly the property owner's fault! The location is about 20-25 minutes from the nearest town so everything's accessible, but you can still enjoy all the quiet you want deep in the woods on the mountainside! We loved the screened in porch!
