About this property

A lovely open single story home situated in front of Thunder Mountain ( a powerful vortex) and just a short walk to the Sugarloaf trail head make this location perfect for hikers, meditators or anyone looking to relax.

The Sacred space was created by a Buddhist monk who lived here for years. Now you can enjoy this restful sanctuary and retreat.

The home is very simple but lovely. The kitchen is brand new with new appliances and flooring. Very comfortable space with Amazing energy. Beautiful views are all around you and can be enjoyed from the patios!

The large remote bedrooms offer privacy. A huge meditation/family room and large kitchen and dining room are in the center of the home.

There is a small bedroom with a TV and futon in the middle of the home. And 2 full size bathrooms with bathtub/shower combos. There is a full size washer and dryer in the middle bathroom.

Visiting monks stay here often and the peaceful energy felt here is powerful and healing.
Because of the sanctity here, we require NO shoes in the home or drugs or alcohol on the premises. There is a front porch to leave shoes and there are slippers provided outside for convenience.

Located in West Sedona in the center of everything!

The space is also available for small groups on retreats...please inquire if you wish to hold a retreat.

Perfect Relaxing Retreat

The house was perfect for our needs. Great location, open floor plan and roomy enough for 5 of us. Check-in was quick and Shelley was a great host! She made sure we had all we needed. Would recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful stay in Sedona!

Great location, would stay again

Walking distance to hiking trails was great, as well as close to grocery stores. Big kitchen with dining. We had two couples stay and each had separate bedrooms and ample space. I wouldn’t use the futon tv room as a place for a third couple’s bedroom, unless privacy is not of a concern.

Peaceful retreat!

Great property! We spent most of the time in the huge family room, hanging out and listening to music. Super peaceful property and got some great rest!

Location, Location, Location and Meditation

I held an executive leadership working focusing on emotional intelligence, mindfulness, meditative and yoga. The place was perfect. We fit 12 people on the floor (10 participants, 2 facilitators). It was a little tight but not a problem. 5 of the 10 participants were CEO's and they loved the simplicity of the space. They felt it allowed them to focus on what was important to them without distraction. We would definitely rent again. Great for a friends weekend. I recommend this place to any yoga teacher who wants to bring a small group to do meditation, yoga and hiking. We absolutely love the trails nearby and having been hiking them for years, so this place is a great jumping point for hiking.
