What a beautiful home! Very warm and welcoming feel. Plenty of room for 6 adults and a 2yo. Love the “Treehouse” space would highly recommend for anyone staying in the Mankato area. Had everything we needed. . Will definitely keep it in mind for next family visit!
We were in town for family weekend for our sons who attend MSU. A few of us parents stayed at the farmhouse. It was nice to have a space for us to hang out with our kids! The home was very clean and comfortable. The treehouse room was a cool surprise!
Our best friends (who are like family), us and 3 adult children stayed here. We have a daughter who is married to said friend’s son and who plays for MSU Hockey. We took in 2 hockey games and participated in the Mankato Marathon Relay. This was the absolute most perfect place to stay! We have rented many VRBOs over the years but I’m sure I have never been more impressed in person than I was with online description! I need clean and this was CLEAN. Kitchen was so well-equipped but also so very organized and easy to find things. Linens, towels…everything met or exceeded my expectations. The pumpkins on the porch just accented the attention to detail you put in. Thank you.
Loved the updated house; was very familiar with the neighborhood/ farm as I grew up not far away. Updates were very well done. Owner was extremely responsive when the Internet went down
We were in town for a family wedding. The house was very clean and had plenty of room for all 6 of us to get ready. We enjoyed relaxing and playing games at the big table. Took advantage of some nearby bike paths. Great place to stay!
Family came to celebrate their grandma’s 90th birthday. The farmhouse worked wonderfully for the young families & the older kids loved the Tree Lounge as their special space. Would definitely use it again.
I stayed with girlfriends for a bike riding trip. It was nice to have a garage to store our bikes. A nice kitchen and dining room for cooking dinner and playing cards. Plenty of room for the six of us and no one needed to share beds. Clean!
Four girlfriends and I stayed at this cozy home. It was better than we imagined! We spent a whole day on the shaded front porch with a cool breeze passing through. Perfection! The neighborhood was quiet and easy to find.
We loved the farmhouse kitchen and the big dining room. The tv-watching areas were also very nice. And the beds were quite cozy!
We'd easily stay here again. The amenities and thoughtful care given to the whole house were noticed and very much appreciated! Thanks so much for providing this lovely space!
We were in town for a long weekend for a softball tournament. We had a couple families stay. The property was so nicely laid out. The girls loved the “treehouse” and hung out there at the end of the long days at the fields. The adults loved the large kitchen and the garage. It was nice to sit outside and still have protection from the rain. Highly recommend staying here! Close to the ballparks! Brandon was super responsive and great to work with. We had zero issues at all during our 4 night stay.
I chose this place for me, my two sisters, and a couple of our adult kids so we could be close to other family members in Mankato, North Mankato, and West Mankato. With the four bedrooms on the second floor, we could all have our own sleeping space but gather at the large dining room table for meals and games.
It was exactly what we needed to relax with family for a week.
We were in town for a graduation and needed something more than a typical hotel room. This was such a fantastic choice. We had four adults and two kids with us and we had plenty of room. The house is absolutely SPOTLESS (which I appreciate above almost anything else), it is beautifully decorated and it had all of the things that we would need (cooking utensils, dishware, laundry, etc.). There was plenty of room for all six of us in the house and we could comfortably rest and watch tv if we wanted.
The only thing I would mention is that there are quite a few stairs which could be difficult for some. My parents were with us and are in their seventies, so this could have been challenging if we had an extended stay. But my husband and I would definitely return if we needed a place to stay in that area again. Such a beautiful restored farmhouse!
This place is a gem and the best I have ever booked on the accommodation apps. Clean, well-appointed, very charming for our winter stay. It’s well cared for and recent remodeling shows the owner wanted to provide good hospitality for renters. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Owner rep was very responsive when we reached out.
