Lake front unit, Sleeps 6, great for families, crafting or fishing - lower level
This lower level unit features fabulous views of the lake from the living room, dining room and kitchen. Recently remodeled, it features granite counter tops in the kitchen, tile floors, and plush carpet in the bedrooms. A sliding door off the dining area leads to the covered patio and the lake. It has 2 comfortable bedrooms, both with a queen size beds. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa. A full bath and a laundry room with washer and drier are also included. The living room includes a flat screen TV with DISH, Netflix and a DVD player. The kitchen features full size appliances, including a dishwasher so you can spend more time on the lake.
Grill dinner on the gas grill while sitting on the patio enjoying the lake life or spend the evening roasting marshmallows around the fire. If you don't feel like cooking, Westwood Bar and Grill is just a short walk or boat ride away. Use of the dock is included, with space to tie up your boat, fish and swim. Use of our paddle boat, kayaks, splash pad and canoe included. Lake Washington has a max depth of 45 feet, covers 1500 acres and is home to sunfish, northern pike, walleye, large mouth bass, crappies, and perch. Other wildlife often seen includes Bald Eagles, Muskrats, Foxes, Canadian Geese, Trumpeter Swans, Loons, and a wide variety of song birds.
Location also available for crafting weekends, tables and chairs provided.
Our location is a few miles from both Mankato and St. Peter, which offer many activities if you want time away from the lake. The Mankato Moondogs (amateur baseball team), shopping, hiking and biking trails and several colleges are all nearby. The Mall of America and the Minnesota Vikings Training Camp facility is only an hour away.

This property has been in the family for over 50 years, and has been used by multiple generations for both summer and winter fun. The current house was built in 2008 and we purchased it from the family in 2016. We live in the upper 2 levels of the house, so we are nearby to answer any questions you may have about the house, the area, the fishing, etc.
