Great place!

Our stay was great. The owners, Joe and Nancy, were really helpful! They have a lot of things to do right at the house. It was very clean. The ice cream shop was really good too.

The place was great, very clean and ample storage and sleeping accommodations, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of bathrooms and lake access was great, definitely would recommend!

Awesome place to vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Joe and Nancy were very welcoming and helpful. It's a beautiful spot and we also enjoyed the town of Elysian.

Excellent for our family. Plenty of room. Only downer was we should have brought slippers to keep our feet warm since the hardwood floors got a little cold.

Awesome Girls' Weekend!

The home is beautiful and spacious with pretty much everything you need! Joe was extremely responsive with questions ahead of our stay and was a gracious host upon arrival. The beds are comfortable and having 3 bathrooms is excellent with on-demand hot water so no one is left with a cold shower! We can wait to come back again for another fantastic weekend!

Great Week at a Great House on the Lake!

We had a great time staying at Joe's house on the lake. There are a ton of amenities available at the property for your use including bikes, paddle boards, and kayaks. This is a side by side property, so the owner is right next door and quickly able to respond to any requests that you may have. Overall it is a great place for a family get away, with plenty to do in the area!

We had a perfect trip

The place was exactly what we hoped for. Joe and Nancy were very helpful but not nosy or intrusive. Hope to be back again. Lake water level was high because of all the rain in the area. Fishing was good. The kids had a ball.

Awesome family time!

Joe and Nancy were wonderful hosts! Even when we messed up on the parking situation, Joe was very gracious. The weather and water were perfect and the littles caught a ton of Blue gills off the dock. We are excited to come back next year!!

Great family week

There was 16 of us. All age groups. Enjoyed the beach, fishing, enough room for all. Played cards in the sunroom. Had everything we needed. Joe and Nancy are terrific. We just wanted a getaway to be together. Great memories!!!!

The property was beautiful inside and out. Lots of spaces for gathering. Made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards. The lake is so calm and serene. The kitchen works well for a crowd, but could be better stocked and organized. Our family had the best time and would definitely go back!

This property worked out well for our wheelchair bound son-in-law. The owner was very helpful in finding a way he could get over the door threshold in his chair. Property was basically as described. Some of the bicycles were unusable as they were being repaired. We had a large refrigerator for our extended family, and the owner let us use another refrigerator in the breezeway. I wish the kitchen had more food storage bowls for leftovers, plates and silverware to accommodate our group of 10. We had to hand wash dishes after meals, because we had a limited amount of dishwasher detergent. Beds were really comfortable, amount of hot water for showers and other uses was never a problem. Water sports equipment was plentiful for everyone in our group. Owners initial property tour and explanation of the property was great and appreciated. He and his wife checked on us several times for anything we might have needed, and are personable friendly people to deal with. Would consider staying here again in schedules worked out. Beautiful views from back yard and living room. I wish there was a marina nearby that would rent jet skis for the older grandkids. The lake was small for pleasure and power boats.

Summer Vacay 2025

Joe and Nancy are friendly and sweet hospitable hosts that have a beautiful home with a GREAT floor plan layout for both group activities and quiet bedroom retreat areas! Plenty of bathrooms all super clean and a very peaceful beach side area complete with comfy chairs and fire pit area!

Bridal Party Lodging

Was a great place to stay and provide space for my bridal party as I got married at Ahavah Cottage 2 min away! I will say that the listing shows the address as the right side of the house but you enter on the left. The check in process was a little delayed and everything was manual/not an electronic checkin, as the owner was out of town and in an area with bad reception, but the nicest people and really glad we stayed here! If anyone is looking for a place to host for a wedding or larger group, I highly recommend!!

Wonderful weekend getaway

My friends and I found this a perfect spot for our Fall ladies weekend. We enjoyed the lake view from the patio, sitting by the fireplace and comfortable rooms. Next time we'll use the kayaks and firepit! Joe was a great and very responsive host!

Extended family for wedding weekend

We had 11 adults one night and 9 the second. 10 adults with 4 couples and 2 singles to shared the bunk room( bottom bunks) would be perfect. We had a lovely time enjoying the lake view outside with our morning coffee and plenty of room inside to hang out watching tv, or playing games at the kitchen table and counter. The host was very receptive to any questions or needs we had. Great stay for our son’s wedding held in Elysian.
