Sufficient but disappointed
The listing was sufficient but it did not meet my expectations. The fob used to access the building did not work. We texted the host each time for entry until a virtual key was sent. We could not decipher between the clean and used towels because they were scattered in the hall closet. The pillows on the bed did not have pillow cases so I used a jacket to cover them to sleep on. Additionally, the pillow had makeup stains and hair on it. I never fully unmade the bed out of concern for the level of cleanliness. I went to brew hot water in the coffee pot and there was old coffee residue with mold on it. There were little dishes and what little dishes were available, I decided to hand wash because they were mixed with a few dirty dishes. Also I don’t believe that the community allows subletting but the majority of people going in and out were NOT residents. I would highly recommend a professional cleaner. It almost felt as if someone occupied the unit prior to my arrival. I appreciate the last-minute accommodation given we had another VRBO host cancel and needed to secure something immediately. I would recommend that if you book this listing to book way in advance so that the cleanliness is up to par but I myself would not consider staying there again. Very nice and convenient area but the apartment took away from the overall experience.
