This property is incredible! The « cabin » is beautifully decorated and was very comfortable for our three-generation family vacation to The Highlands. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the porches, well-stocked kitchen, lovely views of the mountains. Kristen was accessible and helpful on the front and back end of our stay; we never needed to contact her during our visit , as there were no problems! Satulah Vista is well -situated for getting to town easily or hiking up the mountain… it’s really a lovely place.
We had the most amazing stay! I can’t say enough about how perfect this was for us. We had two houses and this one was definitely our gathering spot. So spacious and just great for children and adults alike. The grounds complimented the house with stone paths and so much to explore. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice! Our trip was geared toward getting our three children and their families together since we won’t be together for the holidays. It was so much fun and the cousins didn’t want to leave! Thankful for this opportunity to gather in a comfortable, and fun space!
This Satulah Vista cabin is the rental for discriminating travelers who want to combine having a luxury cabin while also being mere minutes from the heart of Highlands. Walking into the house is a "jaw dropping" experience.
The cabin is extraordinary - as pictured. I spent a lot of time just staying at the wood beam construction marveling at its grandiosity. Spending time there "feels" like you're in a special property.
Having spent a week in Highlands, I now appreciate how rare and special the location of this house is because it allows you to capitalize on strolling around the beautiful town with ease. [Several other beautiful homes i'd considered renting were 5-7 miles from town which i now realize would be a bit inconvenient given how much we enjoyed popping into town for meals and to explore]
There is a wonderful hike that goes to top of Satulah Mountain right out the front door of the house - the views at top of this hike were some of best we experienced. That alone is a huge selling point on the house as we were able to hike with ease without having to drive anywhere.
The host was extremely communicative / super easy / very nice to talk to. All logistics were a total pleasure!
