very cozy and away from other properties, amenities we're better than expected, even was able to make pancakes in the outdoor kitchen. The open access sunroom and patch the dog were really nice to have

This rustic Escape is exactly what you're looking for to get away from the hustle and bustle. It was such a great experience! Patch was the best host ;) the property was was beautiful, and we were lucky enough to see a rare white elk! Amazing!

This was our second stay. We love the camping environment. The great outdoor kitchen and a bed. It was still pretty hot on this stay, but we found the Bonham reservoir ( it’s 15• cooler up there, but a rough road). We love getting away there. It’s nice to spend all day together in nature and we came back better for it. We have noticed that rocks that surround the property get hard on the puppy feet after a day. So we may try dog shoes there next time.

Fishing trip

My son and I stayed the night ahead of a fishing trip we had on the grand Mesa. It was wonderful to be that close without camping in a very quaint cabin. I would highly recommend it!

Perfect little get away!

We had such an amazing time it was short but very amazing! We loved our visit frim the sweet dogs my twin boys wanted them to stay the whole time! Everything you could need was already there, very clean and well maintained! We hope to vist again!!

Pam was friendly and helpful. The place was just as we hoped. With the exception of the charging station. We could never get it to work. But we forgot to mention it when Pam showed up to fix the refrigerator and as efficient as she was, pretty sure she would have been able to fix it. Loved the views and privacy AND kitchen and bed. The bed was more comfortable than we expected. Would highly recommend if you want a retreat into nature.

Truly precious! Off the grid charm like no other! This is a hard yes for those who are over the boxed version of accommodations provided by chain hotels. We needed a get away from people and this sweet space offered MORE than a loving space… it offered peace.

We absolutely loved the coziness of this unique cabin. We had terrible rainy weather but still very much enjoyed the property and our stay. Despite being off grid, the home is set up with everything you may need. Lots of extras touches and considerations. We have already decided we will return! Recommend to all.

If you're looking for a beautiful cabin retreat that is off the beaten path, this is it! It's located in a beautiful ranch full of breathtaking views and full of different wildlife. We really enjoyed having a cup of coffee and watching the sunrise over the moutains! This is a true off-grid experience, and it's absolutely worth doing. The owners give you everything you need to be as cozy as you can be. We hope to spend more time here one day, as we were only passing through on this trip, but it was a very beautiful one-night stay.

My husband and I love the old west era so we were thrilled to have stayed in this cool stagecoach cabin. We were only there for one night, but we had everything we needed. There were plenty of blankets and a propane heater that came in handy since the temperature dropped into the 40s. The motion censored, solar power lights were great since this cabin is off the grid and the bathroom is in the outhouse. If you’re looking for a quiet and unique experience, this was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.
