Welcome to our one-of-a-kind accommodation option in Downtown St. Augustine! If you're looking for a unique and memorable stay, you've come to the right place. Our property has undergone a Peace, Love & Happiness-inspired renovation, and the results are truly extraordinary. We poured our love into every piece of this build.

As soon as you step inside, you'll be captivated by the artistry that went into creating this space. Local artisans poured their talent into crafting the handmade kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and out of state crafters handmade the beds and headboards. The centerpiece of the kitchen is an exquisite red cedar epoxy island countertop, a true work of art in itself, created by a local St. Augustine crew.

One of the most eye-catching features is the wall adorned with the renowned "Spread Love" graffiti and a stunning St. Augustine mural greeting you outside, which sets the tone for the entire space. This graffiti art not only adds a unique character to the property but also serves as a constant reminder of the positive vibes and love that permeates your stay here.

The outside space is appropriately named The Bamboo Garden. In the corner you'll find tall bamboo, with colorful bottle caps lining the ground underneath. A picnic table, games, and cafe lights lend to a peaceful break from touring the city.

Our property is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience, a celebration of art, love, and positivity. We invite you to immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere we've created, and to explore the vibrant city of St. Augustine, knowing that you can always return to your peaceful and eclectic sanctuary. IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

Need more space? In the front of the property we have a separate Vacation Rental. Separate parking and entrances, and no shared space. We welcome your friends or family to book our Artsy, 2 bed/2 bath Cottage that sleeps 4-6 guests! Guests will find 2 King en suites, plus an additional twin over full Renovation Hardware bunk bed in the second suite. A delightful screened in porch separates the two suites. In front, is a porch with 2 rocking chairs. Life is Good!

My family and I stayed at the Art House March 10 through March 13, 2026. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, it was the most perfect stay! The location is fantastic, so many sites and restaurants are within walking distance. The house is exceptionally clean, the beds are comfortable and the decor is incredible! We were all astounded at the love and care that was put into the home. We had the best time at The Art House! Truly a unique, spotless place with everything you need—and so many thoughtful extras. You really only need to bring your clothes. The beds are very comfortable, and I loved all the little Love Signs—they made you feel so welcomed. The location is perfect; we walked everywhere with our three teenage daughters. Can't wait to visit again!

This place is the absolute best and the hosts are gems! This is our second time staying in one of Wendy & David's properties, and our experience could not have been better. I wish we could give a 10 star review! We stay at a lot of rental properties and this one was by far the best. It was clear to see all the love and care put into the house and every possible need was accounted for. Easy access to town, restaurants and beach, the hosts were responsive and so accommodating- literally can’t say enough good things for this special home away from home!

We have stayed at some nice places. This one takes the cake! You can tell they put so much love, thought and attention into The Art House, every single space, nook and cranny. Loved this property! We were in awe of the decor and all of the detail that went into it! Property was conveniently located.....we walked 75% of the time as we explored the area. St. Augustine is beautiful with lots of history, art, great restaurants, and beaches! Owners were a pleasure to deal with....went above & beyond for our family! Wendy and David are entrepreneurs. By day they run a successful corporate team, building company, and by night and weekends, they run their passion project which is hosting guests in St. Augustine at three different vacation rentals. The ArtHouse is really special and creating it challenged all of Wendy's design skills and decorating with color. What would you do with an empty warehouse? It wasn't a question for us as we wanted to turn it into a funky, industrial, hippie-chic, vacation rental. You'll see a photo where we started with a cement floor and everything from there is architecturally designed, colorfully decorated, and furnished with fun and love. What's really fun for us is if you see any of the three guest houses, you'll see our favorite furniture, favorite designers, local artwork, and custom cabinets. What makes it really special is that people feel at home in these unique spaces and we really get a kick out of making people happy.

Why they chose this property

In front of The ArtHouse is Sanchez Suites our two-bedroom, two-bathroom dogtrot cottage, which we've been staying in on and off for the past year or so. It is a short-term rental when we're not there and guests love it. It is a relatively new house in the old city, and when we bought it, it came with the warehouse. We knew then, that was the special part of the property. We are three houses up from San Marco, across the street from the Fountain of Youth, and in walking distance to restaurants, shops, and historic downtown. What's not to love?
