Great home base for a visit to Joshua Tree National Park. For two days, we hiked at the park and returned in the evenings to Desert Haze to relax. The mid-century modern decor is a nice touch and there’s plenty of room to play games, watch TV and see the night sky.

We have stayed at many VRBO properties across the U.S. and Garrett’s place was fantastic. Clean, comfortably furnished, fully stocked with things you need, not with designed for just looks fluff. The views of the desert from the patios are awesome, so relaxing. We’ve already recommended the property to family and friends.

This was our second stay at Desert Haze. It's a great house and close to JTNP north gate and Sky's The Limit Observatory. Everything is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is great. And, the yard is great for breakfast and in the evening. We really appreciate the private parking. The view is wonderful since the house is above the city on the hill. I really like this house and will stay here again.

This was a very sweet space—especially clean for a pet-friendly location—and peaceful. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the fans over a hot weekend. We were very comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked, but could use a few more dish towels and some updated pots and pans. Great proximity to the park entrance.

This is great house. We enjoyed the outside garden area for breakfast. The arcade game was so much fun. It was super close to Sky's the Limit Observatory where we went to see a Night Sky Program. Also super close to JTNP. Access was so easy and we really appreciated the private parking. The host was super helpful, too.

We really enjoyed this property. The hosts are responsive and timely in responding. The home is accurately described in the listing but photos do not do it justice. The outside yard is huge-fully fenced. The porches and seating areas comfortable. The beds sleep well and the shower is fantastic. Very nice rental that is quite comfortable. Will return.
