This was a great location for our family reunion. It was nice to have various cabins for each family. The host was very communicative and helpful. The lake was perfect to play in and there was alot of yard space for games and for the kids to run around with. Overall it was a great stay
This was a great place to enjoy with family and friends for the weekend. It was a nice getaway and easy access to the rake for fishing or canoeing. The owner/staff of the property were very easy going and we had great communication with them throughout the stay. Highly recommend this 5 cabin property for a nice weekend getaway.
We had a wonderful stay with our larger group of 22 adults and kids! Having the smaller cabins in addition to the large cabin was a great setup and gave each family a little privacy and their own space. We do wish that the two cabins advertised as having bunk beds actually had bunk beds in the rooms, as that would have been ideal for accommodating some of the brother/sister pairs. We made the couches work instead, and they were a good backup option. The large cabin was perfect for gathering everyone for meals, although having a usable second oven in the loft cabin would have been a big bonus, especially since the cabins are right next to each other. The lake was beautiful and clear, and the neighborhood was peaceful. The large bonfire pit and plentiful firewood were a highlight, which we used every night. Just be aware that quiet hours begin at 10 p.m., which is important to follow given the nearby neighbors.Communication with the hosts was excellent, and we really appreciated how responsive they were before/throughout our stay. Overall, this was a great place for our group.
The Ponderosa was a great place for our family to come together
The beach area was nice. The water was shallow and did not drop off suddenly. Our small grandchildren loved it. They even fished from the dock and were excited when they caught fish. We rented a pontoon for a couple of days and the older boys went fishing and caught quite a few fish!
Making s’mores at night around the HUGE fire pit was great. Had lots of chairs around it. We enjoyed the big outside area where the kids could run and play and where we played several yard games. Over all it is a great place for large families. We all enjoyed it alot
We had a family vacation with 17 and 3 dogs. Very pet friendly! The kids had a blast jumping from the dock, visiting each other in their cabins. We all had our own space to go. The main cabin was wide open for all to join on the rainy days with many activities to do provided by the Resort. We brought our own boat and used the public access and docked the boat. The fishing was amazing! From crappies, sunnies, northern, huge Bass, and managed to catch walleye! Many laughs and memories were created this weekend!
