You'll create lasting memories with friends and family at this classic, single-level chalet in South Lake Tahoe, where you'll be a matter of minutes from Heavenly Mountain Resort, a wealth of entertainment in Stateline, and dozens of hiking trails, mountain biking trails, and gorgeous beaches on Lake Tahoe.
This home is located just half a mile from the Truckee River, where it sits among the pines on a double lot. In this park-like setting, you'll not only have ample space to relax and spread out, you'll find all sorts of provided equipment - beach chairs, umbrellas, an E-Z UP canopy, a cooler, portable gas BBQ, utensils, and other picnic items - to use when you decide to get out and explore.
As you enter, you'll be greeted by an open living area with vaulted ceilings, exposed natural wood, and windows on three sides that bring in the sunlight and views of the woodland neighborhood. The living room features plush seating, a flatscreen TV (with Apple TV and a Blu-ray/DVD player), and a gas fireplace stove, while the renovated kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, details of granite and richly hued wood, and space to dine at both the island breakfast bar and the circular table.
There's both a private deck out front with a dinette set and retractable awning and a forested yard out back, where you can barbecue, dine beneath the trees, play horseshoes or corn hole, and tell stories around the gas fire pit at night.
Enjoy your morning coffee while seated at a bistro set on the private patio off the master bedroom, all while taking in the fresh mountain air and the smell of towering pines above.
For the cycling enthusiasts, there's discreet bike parking behind the cabin to keep our toys out of view from the street and passers-by. For added security we provide a long cable, keyed padlock and even an area to hang up helmets, Camelbacks, etc. We get it...we love to ride too!
Additional amenities include flatscreen TVs in two of the three bedrooms, free WiFi throughout the house, and a private washer/dryer.

About the host
Hosted by David Broman
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Lake Tahoe has always been a great escape for us to enjoy everything this beautiful area has to offer. From skiing to mountain-biking to kayaking to enjoying sunsets, you just can't beat Lake Tahoe. A few years ago, we were finally able to make the jump and purchase our first ever vacation home, in South Shore. We couldn't have been more excited and have shared many great memories already. Our goal as hosts is to provide a clean, comfortable cabin for families and friends to gather and create amazing memories, just as we have. We love to hear about our guests' experiences!
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is a very quiet and relaxing neighborhood, with many full time residents. The cabin is perfectly located in the sense that it's a quick drive to Heavenly Resort, Stateline, the Y area and Midtown, so all the activities and shopping are close by. It's also just far enough away to still be able to relax and have some peace and quiet when you're ready. It's a perfect blend!
What makes this property unique
Our property is situated on a double lot, with plenty of space to spread out. As such there are multiple outdoor areas in a park-like setting to eat, relax, play horseshoes, jenga, corn hole, or just hang out.
We also provide our guests with camping chairs, umbrellas, an ez-up, picnic utensils and even a portable BBQ for when you decide to venture out!
