Historic Stillwater Home close to downtown

This historic 1882 home is located in a charming neighborhood 0.5 miles from town. The house has been completely renovated and updated. It has 2 bedrooms with a family room that can be completely closed off for privacy/third bedroom. This home is located on the South Hill above the Chilkoot Stairs with astonishing views of downtown Stillwater and the river. Enjoy sitting on the front porch or the bonfire pit in the back yard. This house is about a ten minute walk to many restaurants, shopping, and the scenic St. Croix River. There is a queen size air-mattress available but please no more than 8 guests. This house is not handicap accessible. Thank you

The owner is super friendly and very prompt in responding. The home is beautiful, cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable and there was AC in both bedrooms. The grounds are well manicured and peaceful. Off street parking and a nice little coffee bar. Highly recommend and we would definitely love to come back! Very convenient to downtown as well.

Wonderful Family Home

My son and I stayed here for a few days and our host was responsive to all of our questions and requests. The house was clean and full of everything you need on vacation! Walking distance from town, it was the perfect location to walk everywhere! I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place!

We met long time friends for two nights and this was perfect for us! Two bedrooms, two baths, complete kitchen and nice outdoor space for sitting and visiting. We have stayed at many places over the years and the attention to detail was the best that we have ever seen! And it was in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Highly recommend.

Great home and location. Overall there was absolutely everything we needed in this cute home. Stephanie was easy to communicate with and she provided many extras such as coffe pods, creamer, charging cords for almost any device, excellent wifi. Upstairs bedroom and bath was roomy and comfortable, stairs were quite steep we felt. Downstairs bed and bath on the small side, but we used another room for our suitcases. The location is great.

Lovely stay

This was a great place to stay in Stillwater. It was a comfortable, cute home with plenty of space to hang out for my husband and daughter and I. We enjoyed the outdoor space quite a bit, and we slept well on the comfy beds. We really loved the location, as it was a doable but slightly challenging walk to downtown - that was perfect for us!

Lovely little home! Loved all the little extras, like the coffee bar, amazing body wash, shampoo and conditiner, snack basket and fluffy towels. Beds were very comfy, even the pull out! Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for Grandma and grandkids

Grandma and 6 grandkids had a wonderful time at this spotlessly clean and very well appointed home. Definitely recommend for a relaxing family get-a-way in Stillwater. Good communication from host, prompt attention to any requests.

Fun Girls Night!

We rented this home for a girls night/reunion. We had so much fun in all of the cute spaces. Everything was clean and the upstairs area was wonderful! Love how close/easy it was to get downtown Stillwater!

Great house, excellent amenities and location. No central air , might be an issue for some in summer. We were there in 100 degree heatwave so it was fairly uncomfortable everywhere except main floor bedroom. But it was unusually hot, no fault of the property owner! An extra powerful fan or two might have helped, although two were available already.

Great Place and Great Location

The house was very comfortable to be in. Very clean! We spent time downtown Stillwater to eat and visit a couple of the distilleries so this was very close for us. We will keep it in mind for the next trip.

Had a wonderful time!

The accommodations were just what we needed. The location was perfect, a short walk to downtown Stillwater. Loved the little "extras" everywhere, from coffee pods to snacks to a fire waiting to be lit! Thank you! Only regret is we didn't have more time.

Great things all around

We had a great time at Stephanie's place! It's a very cool old house in a neat neighborhood. She was very easy to work with and left more amenities than we would have expected. It was great to have different rooms to use in the house, and I wish we had more time to enjoy the fire pit in the backyard. Definitely would recommend.

Romantic Fun getaway

This is a beautiful well taken care of home. We loved how the host kept the home decorated with the era itvwas built. Every little detail was appreciated. The outdoors has plenty of space as well. Hidden Gem

This place was absolutely amazing to stay at. The host paid close attention to detail, as the house was fully loaded. The host also kept great communication from the moment I first inquired about the place, up until our final day of check out. The space was perfect and well maintained. Entrance code

Whoever was responsible for The entrance code failed to do so. We were able to get in the front door because it Was not shut properly, unbeknown to us. Came back from dinner and were completely locked out. Called owner who said it was our fault. She gave us a different code that worked Great little house but much further walk downtown then anticipated.

NICE HOME, CLOSE TO TOWN. As we are all elderly, the uneven floors gave us a challenge ... also the extra wide and steep staircase was challenging for us. Other than that, the home was lovely and we appreciated the coffee and other kuerig beverages and cookies. Would definitely recommend this home to others! The hostess was wonderful to communicate with.
