Fantastic stay! The location was perfect, and the space was comfortable, inviting, and full of character. It was stocked with all the amenities we could have asked for and more. A charming space, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable (especially the bed). The owner is welcoming and very friendly. The space lacks nothing and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for a weekend exploring Stillwater. Liz was so friendly and the place was top notch! We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday, and were treated to a wonderful bottle of wine when we checked in. We will be back! Thank you Liz!

This was a great experience with a very welcoming host - and while in the above garage lift vrbo space, it was easy to forget where you are a every window looked out on greenery and wildlife! And the convenience of downtown Stillwater was just a 5 minute drive away!

Very cute flowery place. We bought shrubs along the way and she let us leave them outside so they could get watered. Bed was comfy, I slept good. Shower was pretty tight. She left us some wine which was very nice. I’m glad I asked about getting to the bike trail, she had mowed a trail to bike trail so we didn’t have to go on highway. Overall nice stay.

We couldn't have found a better place for our Stillwater getaway! We were looking for a midweek change of scenery where we could balance work with a little relaxation, and Dutchman Retreat was absolutely perfect.The loft above the garage is just the right size for two, and the separate office space downstairs made it easy to get some work done in a quiet, comfortable setting.Liz has created so much more than a place to stay. She's created an experience. Every detail feels thoughtful, with eclectic, travel-inspired décor and just the right touch of whimsy. The space has so much personality and charm!Tucked into a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood near the St. Croix River, the retreat feels wonderfully peaceful while still being just a 10–15 minute walk or a quick five-minute drive from downtown Stillwater's shops and restaurants. It's truly the best of both worlds.We loved our stay and will absolutely be back!
