This was a good option downtown. Close to everything and more space than you’d get in a hotel room.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. We were in town for a wrestling tournament for our boys. Provided everything we needed, clean space to unwind at. Comfortable beds to sleep in, washer and dryer to wash their clothes and a kitchen that was fully equipped to make breakfast. Check-in process was super easy, parking was close and being connected to the sky walk was also a nice bonus.

We were happy with our stay here. It was conveniently located and offered much more space than a similarly priced extended stay hotel. The area felt safe and was clean. The space was modern and decorated well. We learned it was the old Des Moines newspaper building, and we could see the character in the building was preserved in the room and some of the common areas. Parking was available on the street or the public parking garage, which was attached via a skywalk. It was a separate fee. The host was very responsive to take care of a minor concern we had and we were very thankful for that.

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful time at this downtown loft. We were close enough to walk to some classic Des Moines attractions: farmers market, Science Center, Wasabi Tao. The community room and exercise room were excellent! And our host was helpful and communicative. Perfect trip!

Great location and price!

Check in and out went smoothly, which was so appreciated since we arrived at 2 in the morning. It has an industrial feel, which we liked. The location was amazing and downtown parking was easy an inexpensive. The owner was easy to communicate with.
