Lovely place

Lovely place to stay, loved the area, manager was great, basement bedroom is not great and there were a lot of black widow spiders. Manager was prompt to help and brought in an exterminator asap but my family wasn’t convinced to go down there after. Overall great place to stay.

Unfortunately we live in the same area as our lovely spiders and other pests, but thankfully the exterminator only found 1 in the garage and are no longer in or around the garage, as it was thoroughly sprayed that day. You were awesome guests to host and look forward to having you back again in the future!

Summer fun

We had a fabulous time at La Casa. Melanie was a great host and her property is fabulous. This was our third year at the resort. No evacuation for fires this year so that was a bonus! The home is quiet and close to the main store and activity area. We had a golf cart rental so that made getting down to the beach much easier.

6722 La Palma Loop

Condo was very nice, new and modern. Resort is on a hillside and a golf cart is a must, so add $$. Beach is rocky but has effective layout and the kids seem to enjoy the inflatables. Cheap rentals for SUP's in resort. Store is of course expensive. Host was very helpful and friendly. Pools and other amenities are good as well, few lineups. Third bedroom is in the garage which was weird, but the youngest couple did not mind, it was quiet. Main bed next to kitchen and open loft bedroom above the kitchen made late evenings and mornings challenging for those who wanted to sleep. But who does on holidays?:) Overall worked very well for our family of three adult couples.

Family quiet time

We enjoyed the pools and the house. It was an easy, short walk to the pool, store and golf area. The lake was a great swim and a short drive. It is a little rocky to get in and out of so I suggest something for your feet. Our kids enjoyed the wibit attractions. Make sure to get a free amenities pass first as we did not know and the staff will ask randomly at the various facilities. Lots of ways to cook at the site. We would BBQ on the deck at night but daytime was inside due to the house being built next door. It would have been better to have known about the construction and boil water advisory prior to the day of arrival to help plan food and activities for the family. The air conditioning was great for the high temperature days. The third bedroom in the basement did not get this luxury and made it not the same as the other two sleeping areas. We very much enjoyed the heat and relaxing water attractions. There was a band playing on the Friday night which was a nice touch for the site.
