Take in the beauty of Deep Creek Lake during every season at this Gambrel-style cabin, beautifully secluded in the woods of Oakland. Hiker, skier, or water sports enthusiast, you'll love coming home to a brand-new hot tub (June 2023), a wraparound deck, and a firepit where you can roast s'mores at the edge of the forest.

This two-story cabin is part of the Youghiogheny Mountain Resort residential community, where it sits on almost an acre of land bordered by a spring-fed creek. It's an area full of hiking possibilities, with Swallow Falls State Park less than five miles south. This is also a wonderful home base for exploring, with Harrington Manor State Park (five miles), Deep Creek Lake State Park (12 miles), and Wisp Resort (12 miles) close by.

In the spring, summer, and fall, begin and end each day in the home's lovely outdoor spaces. Play cornhole and horseshoes in the yard, sneak afternoon naps in the hammock, and use the gas grill to prepare barbecue dinners on the deck. Come winter, gather inside for foosball and Nintendo Classic tournaments as the snow gently falls outside.

The house is full of recent upgrades, including an open, updated kitchen. Enjoy an island with bar seating, an indoor dining area, and a second living room where you can catch up after dinner. Both bedrooms are upstairs, including one with its own smart TV, DVD player, and desk workspace. Central air, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi round out the creature comforts.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
