My Happy Place is welcoming and comfortable! Sherry was easy to communicate with and we enjoyed her walk thru of the place explaining all about the family history, her unique homemade decor as well as her sense of humor! It was the perfect place to relax after spending the day at the Ark Encounter!

A beautiful pastoral setting, perfect for relaxing. Nearby is the Ark Encounter, which is visible from the property. The hostess exceeded our expectations in every way. If we lived closer, we’d love to visit just to stay in touch!

A wonderful, down-home place that was perfect for our stay while visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The house was clean and tidy, well supplied, and the hostess went above and beyond to be sure we had everything we needed while there. The location is a ways off the main roads, offering quiet tranquility and beautiful views of the Kentucky hills. We would definitely book another stay, should we be back in the area.

“My Happy Place” exceeded my and my sister’s expectations. Ms. Sherry truly thought of everything. We were never without anything. We had more than we needed of towels, paper products, sanitizing wipes, condiments, and everyday staples within the refrigerator. Even a box fan was conveniently ready for use in the utility room. Room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Detailed instructions for our stay were provided and greatly appreciated. My two sisters and I each had enough room to have our individual and intimate quiet time with The Lord Jesus Christ. We also enjoyed playing cornhole and other games provided inside “My Happy Place”. Out of all the places I have rented “My Happy Place” has made it to the top of my list!
